Lego really put together a massive and complete Cantina set. It doesn't seem like they will be able to improve it, so I don't see them making another large Mos Eisley set for at least 10 years, so investors will do better and better with every year that passes after retirement.

What are the chances this goes on sale anywhere between now and retirement and what would you recommend the best way to monitor those sales would be?

Lego.com usually has a sale right before they retire it and sell out of it, but it's usually only a few hours before it's gone. I would wait until Lego.com has a good gift with purchase (GWP), and then buy it and use that GWP as the money off and resell the GWP. The Mos Eisley Cantina set will most likely not be made on this type of scale for at least 15 years, so if you want it, you'll need to get it in 2023. Thanks for watching!!

Smart move to pick them up before the August 2022 price increases. I bought several sets back in July that were going up in price, but I forgot about this one. I bought a couple of the Ecto-1's and the R2-D2's.

Without a doubt. I don't think the Mos Eisley set needed them to boost it's value, but people that go out and buy Jabbas Palace and the new Sail Barge will want to go back and find the Mos Eisley Cantina. I think the minifigures in the Mos Eisley set will make this set one of the top 10 Star Wars large sets of all time. Thanks for watching!!

Unopened vs opened is typically a huge difference in reselling value. For this one I would say it'll be somewhere between a $50 and $125 a year or two after retirement.
