This strategy is nice but I don't like it because of very low profit rate. I currently trade options and covered calls with a broker who manages my portfolio. I've made remarkable growth and recently cracked half a million.

I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises of plummeting stocks which were once revered and i don't know where to go here out of devastation.

Agreed, It's essential to diversify your portfolio. While quality stocks are a solid foundation, you should also consider other assets to spread risk. Options are not like normal financial instruments. Even in the normal structure they are complicated. You cannot expect to understand them from 2h video. Especially if you want to do more than hedging.

It's really not as difficult as many people presume it to be. It just requires a certain level of diligence, which is something ordinary lnvestors lack, and so a financiaI advsor often comes in very handy.

That’s why I make it a point to speak with a financial advisor before choosing any investments. I’ve been using one since the pandemic, using profits oriented tactics and minimizing risks as a buffer against inevitable downtrends. How do you determine which way a stock will go? Do you use technical analysis?

Selling a $16 Put 45 days from expiration and $16.5 7 days from expiration are not the same risk though. One put has a 0.29 delta and the other 0.16 delta. That's nearly twice the odds of getting assigned for less premium. In fact you could make more hypothetical selling the 0.15 delta weeklys and have better odds not being assigned. But I understand if you don't have the time. Just saying you aren't making the same amount of money and also not taking on any addition risk.
