Selling options is great. But robinhood closes out your trade if the asset price is 1% or less from the stock price. And they’ll pay over the ask just to get it filled. So It’s just no good for 0DTE

From my observation and historical market pattern, there might be a bit of turbulence in the market coming up, but here's the deal: Trying to guess what's going to happen next is less important than spreading your bets when trading and thinking long term. It's not about guessing the market's next move; it's about playing it smart and steady...managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 732k in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Linda Wilburn, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

I’m seeking to invest a good amount across various markets but don't know which is safe at this point of uncertainty, I was advised to diversify between stocks and bonds, since they can help hedge against inflation, or am I better off holding cash?

I lost over $70k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Patricia Annie Brooks.

If you already have a lot of position already, You could sell STRANGLE (Sell Both PUT and CALL at same time) Says Sell 10 August 25 CALL / 19 PUT, you would get $1.86 ($1,860). I have 6000 shares already. So I won't mind add another 1000 if it under $19 (breakeven $19 - 1.86 = $17.14) If it go up break even point is 25+1.86 = $26.86. So I have a lot of room to play with between $17.14 to $26.86 I won't mind lose 1000 shares if it does when my original cost is only $12.50. I have highest level so I could sell both naked PUT and call at same time without holding stocks. I sold those such as Google, MSFT, etc.. at VERY far out of money on both put and call with less than 10% chance of in the money. That to create monthly income. I always hold large amount of cash in the account just in case some does not always go my way and need to close out or rolled to next calendar month. I normally sell very conservative about 10 delta hopefully it all expire. Just need to accumulate cash. However on my Roth IRA another 3,030 shares that I could not touch. Do not want to sell call since it might be call away if S&P 500 inclusion announcement (around early June), price would shot up. Also can not sell PUT either since it would need to be CASH secured PUT on IRA account. So just leave it alone.

I have $22.50 6/21 calls, sold $21 5/24 calls, sold $22 6/7 calls on Friday for the three day weekend, but want to close at 50% to avoid assignment think will break $22 next week! Think PLTR starts running due to SP500 rebalancing on June 20th, the rumor of being next in. If not, am suspecting AppLovin. I have most of my PLTR calls paid off now but thinking buying $22 calls and selling $23.50 calendar, spend $30 to make potentially $114 or almost 4x1 trade

If you sell $21 Calls on Palantir and collect .41 on 10 contracts, you would need to start with 1000 shares of the stock and make $410. This is assuming the stock drops below $21, otherwise you would be selling your shares to cover the Call contracts at a loss. If PLTR went to $22, for example, you would lose out on $1000 on the 1000 shares you own (yes, you would have collected the $410 but given up $590). Only sell Calls if you think the stock will go down. Don’t give away your shares for less than you think they are worth.

I have a 3 fund portfolio consisting of 33% S&P, 33% Total stock, and 33% international. I feel a need to focus on complete growth so I went 100% stocks, but does the SP500 and TSM overlap too much to make sense holding both? However I’ve been in the red for a month now. I work hard for my money, so investing is making me a nervous sad wreck. I don’t know if I should sell everything, sit and just wait but watching my portfolio dwindle away is such an eye -sore.

There are many other interesting stocks in many industries that you might follow. You don't have to act on every forecast, so I'll suggest that you work with a financial advisor who can help you choose the best times to purchase and sell the shares or ETFs you want to acquire.
@joshbarney1148 сағат бұрын
I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+ and I've netted over 2.8million.
