I've owned one for twelve years and it's still as beautiful and functional as the day I bought it. Mine is a reference #3049 buesy blue/gold two-tone and even the gold accents are still flawless. I've never even had to have the NH35A serviced.

It’s beautiful coloring. I have the “regular” grand diver myself. The only thing I wonder is why they included a GMT bezel without the GMT hand. I mean, the whole point of the GMT bezel is to keep time in two time zones simultaneously. For pilots, etc.

Another significant difference between the pro diver and the grand diver is the pro diver has cheap-feeling hollow end links and the grand diver has solid end links on the bracelet and it feels reassuringly more expensive.

@@thetimebombardier I just realized another upgrade the grand diver has over the pro diver is the grand diver has a milled clasp and the pro diver has a pressed clasp. Also, the grand diver has 300m of water resistance and the pro diver only has 200m.

I took delivery of one a few days ago with the black dial and bezel it is a leviathan as you say, but a comfortable one and I find it easy to wear despite its dimensions. Now I'm seriously pondering a Hydromax! 😂

@@thetimebombardier I got the Hydromax today, got a real bargain from ebay. It's a big watch, but not quite as big as I expected it to be, I wouldn't wear it out to dinner, but I will when out on my mountain bike! lol It is wearable on my7'' wrist, but would obviously better suit a much bigger wristed person than I am. It makes the Grand Diver look a little puny which is comical! 😄

I had the "Reguar" Grand Diver (3044) before, since it fell on the floor and is not repairable, unfortunately. I have to choose a replacement now, and this version looks great, but it seems to be larger and even more massive than the 3044.....

I received mine today. Model #3044. I’m just delighted with how it fits on my hand! And other watches from my collection are now just for children! Ah ha ha. I just fell in love with this Invicta model and don’t want to take it off. Very regular curves on the watch case, harmonious. Good bracelet thickness.

I really like the cyclops window. I don't know why they went without the GMT needle. I agree the hands could be slightly larger. With that said I like the watch.

Cut and Pasted from the internet: Most of the Invicta watches are made in China, and the watch movements are Japanese NH35A. Some Invicta watches are made in Swiss, and the movements are swiss sellita SW500 or SW200. Both materials make the watch penny worthy.
