We were there. For us it was very moving. It was simply beautiful to see how great the cohesion and commitment of all involved (athletes, relatives, friends, etc.) was. And when you look at their faces, you see, even as an outsider, how important this initiative and this incredible support is. Especially in these unfortunately turbulent times, we were so pleased to see that the entire audience spontaneously stood up and gave thunderous applause at the entrance of the Ukrainians. And thus showed: You are not alone. We stick together. I have seen the partly completely overwhelmed faces. And these faces told us: That's what it's all about. To everyone involved: Keep up the good work.

One of the best things that Harry has ever done to help his fellow soldiers recover from mental or physical injuries. He initiated this from finding out about the wounded warriors in the US. The world has benefited from this organization. ❤

@ladyjane8855 The Wounded Warriors Project was started in 2003 by John Melia in Virginia,and it spread across the United States, to help soldiers with mental and physical challenges, and Prince Harry was made aware of the organization when he visited Washington DC, he decided to take the idea and bring it to the UK, and it expanded to Europe and it has expanded to many other countries and it continues to expand.

I loved that each country picked their entrance song, Australia might have been my favourite 😂 Seeing some of the competitors from the Heart of Invictus documentary made me even more emotional. @@elsiewickham1976 Harry was inspired by seeing the warrior games in the USA in 2013 , then Harry had an idea . The Royal foundation coordinated the invictus games with Harry as patron. In 2020 it was transferred to the invictus games foundation . Up til now it isn't known that Harry has gifted any money to the games , however William gave nearly 1 million to the Royal foundation for the games ( After being awarded money from the media scandal ) you say who would be better representing the games , after much thought I would say a group of injured veterans would be better idea .
