The thing that's super interesting about Rae being alive is that in the comic (she's a guy in the book actually), Rae does NOT survive getting eaten by Komodo Dragon. She just straight up dies. So the fact that she gets to live in the show is FASCINATING. A potential new story arc that doesn't exist in the source material.

Possible spoilers for next two episodes based off the comics with my prediction- Thinking next episode will end with Angstrum holding Debbie and Oliver hostage and mark beats the shit out of him (he comes back later and the start of the invincible war begins probably next season) And Allen breaks omni man out of prison and they go on some funny adventures. Season will probably end with mark getting his blue suit. And probably tease Conquest in the final scene. Don't believe the finale will be anything huge but probably just sets up next season for invincible war and the start of the Viltrumite war

@@aidanharrington9892 I'd say that the Season will NOT end with the Blue Suit. The Title Card wasn't fully bloody until Season 2 Episode 1, it's delayed by one episode. Which means that the Title Card will have the Invincible title fully blacked out in Season 3 Episode 1. Which only means that we'll get his blue suit in Episode 1 of S3.

The writing and character building of this episode proves why Invincible is one of the greatest comic book tv shows of all time. Between Mark and Amber having very believable and realistic relationship issues, Immortal having problems dealing with Dupli-Kate’s tragic death, and William and Rick both dealing with the trauma of what Sinclair did to them. Robert Kirkman really loves to twist that knife doesn’t he!

I might be in the minority, but I always prefer getting the personal moments from our characters then nonstop crazy action scenes. Which I believe this show excels at very well with both of those elements & makes "Invincible" one of if not the best superhero show out in my opinion.

I think the biggest shock to me is Rae survived. They didn't in the comic. As a matter of fact They just got chewed up and it was done no struggle, which was always odd to me cause they explained that once he...Ray was a dude in the comic...anyhow once he started to grow he had to reach that size and couldn't shrink back till, I guess cause it was a woman this time she was small enough to reach that size and then go back. What's odd is they never used that plot point there, but did here when I thought she was crushed.

Then conquest will probs be in the final episode as a teaser and next season will be the invincible war towards the finale and his first battle with Conquest

I would normally agree but I think this is just poor writing tbh. The martians clearly have a legitimate society. If that’s the case, why don’t Earth and Mars have official communication channels like nations between Earth? The martians don’t get the benefit of cooperation from Earth if it doesn’t go both ways. Why didn’t they contact Earth and warn them out the ship? After that they deserve to be treated as a hostile species. Taking shape smith is the better play. You get nothing out of leaving him at Mars. You can potentially get more Intel on Mars and a decent hero if you take him.

This is a Robert Kirkman show, he made Walking Dead, so I just expect main characters could die any time. At the same time, all dead character seem to come back so far, I can actually see Kate coming back one day, because there is a very likely chance that one of her clones or her real self is indeed sitting somewhere having a family or whatever, just doing something completely different.

It actually happens more often than you think, getting shot in the head and surviving, even one’s that enter or preferably go through the brain, there are less critical parts of the brain than others believe it or not, and while swelling is a real issue since there’s nowhere for the brain to go while swelling inside the skull, but point is there are a lot of cases of people being shot in the head and surviving in real life… also, Eve and Invincible are pretty famously together in the comic, I hope that’s no spoiler but I mean, it’s like having a show with Superman in which they have him completely ignore Louise Lane, it’s weird.. to me at least…

That is indeed a spoiler. Let it happen in the show there's no need to tell who dates who or what happens. We got to experience the story as comic readers. Don't be a dick and spoil the experience for people that only watch the show.

Man I hate that Kate didn't make it. Out of Rex, Kate and Rae I was the least interested in Rae's character. I was hoping that there would be a possible upgrade to Rex and Kate's powers making them more formidable. I hope Rex steps up more as a leader after this experience. Jaby and Achara are right about Invincible and Atom Eve feeling like a better match, I felt that since the first time I saw them together in Season 1. I really hope that Invincible, Allen and some members of the coalition break Nolan out of that prison to get him to join them. Guess we'll have to wait until the end of the season to see where they go with it. Enjoyed the reaction 👍👍✌ out.
