@@silvakiller those are standard size. The ultimates are oversized hardcover. The compendiums are a cheaper way to read the story. The library editions are bigger than the oversized hardcovers.

Do the Compendiums have some of the in-universe miniseries that Invincible played a part in? I got the impression from solicits that if I wanted more of hardcover prints of in-universe Invincible stories that I’d have to purchase the Ultimate editions.

No. 100 percent no. They have an entire Compendium called "Invincible Universe Compendium."

I'd say start with 1, the show changed quite some things around so it's not identical with the comic

I getting lost in all these options. I have what I believe the compendiums. But only one and two, but apperantly be 3 is shorter for some reasons?? And is me 3 the last one in that collection??? Can someone help a noob here to make me understand wtf image comics is doing (besides making money) and where to buy the last one that has the same format (if there’s one) EDIT: I have 1 and 2 of complete library hardback versions. The binding and gutter loss on those blue foil beauties is criminal. There are still people paying $120 or more on the secondary market for them. They appear to have fixed this on the new compendiums, but it was hard to tell with all the showcasing of the ultimate collection..
