Dominate your enemies with this invincible GW2 Soulbeast Ranger build! This venomous beast isn't just for open world fun - it's a PvE powerhouse ready to crumble bosses and melt mobs in all game modes!
This build inflicts toxic carnage on enemies, draining their life force, doing lots of damage, while giving you tons of heals. So, whether you're clearing random mobs, collecting Hero Points and bounties, or doing group content, this Soulbeast adapts easily, helping you handle any challenge with ease.
The build is beginner friendly, and easy to use, which makes it a very good option for new players, and veterans.
In this guide, I’ll show you gear and traits used, explain how the build works, and how to use it properly. I’ll also show you other options to use for group content like Fractals, and Strike Missions for example, that will help you do much more damage. You’ll also find below cheaper and easier alternatives for gear if needed.

Thank you very much! For open world, it was DPS good even on Celestial. For group content, assuming you'll make the changes I suggested, including Viper Armor, you'll find yourself Top DPS or very close if you managed to Flank the bosses

I think it would better to go d/wh + a/t to always have the +120condmg no matter which weapon set you use.

That's a very good way to look at it! In fact, that's how I had the build set up initially. But then I noticed that I rarely need to change to Warhorn for extra sustain, and that Dagger + Utility Skills are more than enough for sustain most of the time, even against hard mobs. You'll also still get a decent amount of AoE damage with Dagger / Torch due to the #4 and #5 skills, and due to the Utility Skills. That's why I decided to go with Dagger / Torch + Axe / Warhorn. But if you found yourself switching weapons often, then you can use the setup you mentioned. However, if you decided to do that, and you'll also use the build in group content, I'd still keep the same sigils on the same weapons explained in the guide. That's because in group content you want to be on Dagger / Torch for sure.

I am not sure what is it better at, but I'll assume you mean in terms of damage. If that's the case, I didn't select the pets for the damage, it's for the other benefits they'll provide, like the boons from F2. And for group content, you'll be merged all the time anyways with my build setup, so you just really need a pet that will have beast mode skills that work well with the build, and in our case the Spider was perfect for that
