I've been meaning to ask: So you're doing a no roll run of your own? Also I would recommend using either Mantis Blade or Iron Ball now - I wasn't aware of those back in the day. Mantis Blade especially is really good for p2 when he loses a lot of his resistance to slashing damage. Iron Ball would lose out on a few hits compared to the longer weapons (mostly in p2) but still probably is better than CKS, I haven't tried it.

@@mouseinatutu I am far from that. I used mainly in the past a strength built with high stats …I started again from scratch and rediscover the game on another angle. I like thrusting weapons a lot but I should try iron ball. I basically have to learn a lot to avoid getting hit because with max stats the strategy is completely different. I love your video… very inspiring !!!

The phase 2 is extremely helpful to watch even for those not going for no roll. It seems the strat is to stay close and always be circling him. Does locking on make it harder to circle certain moves? Massive GGs this is insane.

is there a way to tell when he’s gonna do the roar in p2, like is it consistent with any of his combos? i’m doing this kill rl1+25 on ng and that’s the one thing that keeps fucking me up

Nope, he can roar from neutral at any time. So don't greed hits after he ends a combo and you'll dodge it easily
