Ok, as someone who read the comic, I won't spoil anything but I can say that a certain character with duplicating powers was already shown in few scenes in the previous seasons (tho, so far, this character always appeared for a very short amount of time so I'm not surprised you forgot about it or didn't even notice it). And yes, a lof of, if not most of the things shown in this trailer are just from the first 3 episodes.

I started doing it myself recently and so far, I rewatched the first season and the Atom Eve special and I'm gonna start rewatching S2 very soon (btw. IMO the first 2 seasons and the special ep. are all 9 or 9,5/10). And last but not least, I definitely recommend reading the comic sometime in the future 'cause it's awesome (I read it after S2 ended and while I was very slow at doing it, I loved it; I also read/started reading other Invincible-related comics during/after reading the main one) 😁

OK so I read the comics ya. But I won't spoil anything. With regards to your question about the timeline. This season leaves a big dent in the story but at the same time. In the comics, we see mark 500 years into the future. So there is a Hella lot that still needs to happen.
