@Sammy Robinson yes! Very humble indeed! Extremely humble when it came to his amazing talent of song writing/composing etc. He never gave himself any credit for this EVER, throughout his whole career! That said though, he meant/believed everything he said and truly felt/believed he was the person chosen to 'receive' these songs/messages, from God, to 'deliver' them. I've never heard any other artist say anything even remotely similar in how they write songs etc.....ever! Maybe thats why no other artist has ever or will ever become as successful as MJ. (If that makes sense lol)

Avo Cado : Yes. 2 stay humble is a huge trait 4 almost every #Jackson member. It seems AND it is the most difficult trait 2 cultivate b/c the world, often times, can be so broken & focuses on the negativity rather than being positive & uplifting people. So, #MichaelJackson 👑💕 is quite a rarity with his mega-talents.. I heard him once say that he only wanted to try to walk in the footsteps of #JesusChrist & be *humble* in life. Quite telling of his core spirituality. Yes. Being humble is truly an amazing trait 2 have & cultivate. #ThankYou #AnthonyDeCurtis 4 this very relaxed, quite informative interview. Loved it! Wish there were more interviews like this abt the process, methods & mindfulness of #MichaelJackson 👑💕 He was truly our #Mozart .. Someone who comes along once in a Millennia. What a treasure he was to #Fans like me. What's amazing about this interview is how little Michael talks about himself, how little ego he has (despite being the greatest entertainer of all time) he's still curious about life, art, music, film - he had so much left to still give and is a real, real, real artist. Everything about how he explains what he does is about channelling God's work through his mind and body - he doesn't take credit, instead he's listening to what God wants and interpreting it. A lot of people tried to turn MJ into a weird monster for the last 15-years of his life...but listen to this interview and it's so clear that he's such a kind, gentle, peaceful and artistic soul that was anything but weird. His children, and especially Prince are proof of what a great father he was too. Great interview.

This is such an amazing interview! Unfortunately one out of a few cases where Michael was asked in depth about his music instead of having to put up with invasive questions a la Diane Sawyer again. Michael is such an eloquent, funny and very charismatic man - it doesn't make sense to me how others can blend out all of his goodness and hard efforts to create the best music possible and downright demonize him! This man genuinely cared about what he did, what was happening in the music industry and he gave his all to make others hurt less; he went the extra mile for each person he saw that was in need, tending to their needs without having some sort of motive in mind like "oh, I'm gonna look like a saint if I do xyz for this person", no. Not Michael. He really perfectly demonstrated what it means to be truly selfless, to be there for others without putting oneself right at the center of any situation. This man is a rare gem and he's deeply, very deeply missed.

Michael still is so genuine. He is looking down from heaven and probably can't believe how many people are suffering with this covid. He would be helping all of us. I know deep in my heart he would. I love him so much. I also listen to his music everyday.

Notice how he lets the guy finish his questions and doesn’t interrupt . Due to being raised well but he is so humble and for someone on the level mj is at ( I talk in the present because he is very much still alive in certain ways ) to speak like this it sounds like somone at start of their career wanting to please people and behave well so they listen to his music . But this was at the end ! After so many huge achievements to be this way and still retain so many humble polite characteristics when he got to a level no one will EVER get to again is part of why he was so special . Just imagine if people listened to this interview on mainstream instead of the perception the scum in the media created . So so unbelievably down to earth . The kindness here is who MJ was and to be this way after all the bs he went through prior is something special . As much as he was a deeply unique and talented artist singer dancer etc , his personality when he reached those levels is equally as impressive to me . I crave for interviews like this purely about the music . Thank you

How beautifully put, my thoughts entirely, these interviews get so few plays to all the tabloid bs, feel so sombre listening to him as it sounds so current and like you said he sounds like a newbie starting out at his career, always so calm and politely spoken... With so much going on in his life and so huge and crazy crowds he talks like he's in a small local band that plays to the local pub, he's such a lovely person, brilliant interview😊

Listening to this interview when MJ said you have to look after your body he must have believed that what he was taking to sleep was ok and not really a drug / how he coped he was under so so much pressure and worked so hard bless him rip Michael a fantastic interview I bet MJ enjoyed it to as it was about him being a Artist
@Iidis2994 жыл бұрын
There were a lot of kids listening to him I think it was better for him say that drugs are bad even if he was taking them himself, for his insomnia and for whatever reasons. He was always anti drug/alcohol in public because he knew he was idol to so many kids.

@@Iidis299 He wasn't going through insomnia at this stage. It was during "This is it" period that he started taking something to sleep. Due to all the stress, the pressure of preparing for the tour, and some paranoia, he couldn't sleep

@@Iidis299 He *had* been taking pills for years but not for insomnia (this wouldnt be the case until later). He started taking them in the 80s, originally for pain relief after his injuries from the Pepsi burns. But unfortunately, he gained a dependency on them and it spiralled into other pills.

Anti gravity shoes. He created them. They have an empty heel and a bar comes up through the stage and clicks into the heel, he leans forward and on his way back up the bar comes back out so he can move the second he's back upright.

It's such a shame that the tour was cancelled. I'm sure Unbreakable would've gotten an amazing choreography and an epic performance.
@grzyruth92053 жыл бұрын
True. I would have loved to see how he danced to his new songs! Unfortunately with his back injury as well as the 2003 allegations he was unable to do a tour, or even a couple of shows at least.
@comradecatbug52893 жыл бұрын
@@grzyruth9205 Nah, the tour would've been held in 2001 but Sony cancelled it because of, well, their big fight with MJ.
@grzyruth92053 жыл бұрын
@@comradecatbug5289 Well according to Michael Bush's book "The King of Style", MJ also mentioned that he physically was not capable of doing an Invincible tour after his back injury in 1999, this combined with the fight with Sony of course just meant that touring was impossible. MJ also mentioned somewhere else (I can't remember where) that he wanted to spend more time with his children instead of touring.
@comradecatbug52893 жыл бұрын
@@grzyruth9205 It's true that Michael didn't like to tour. However, I'm not sure that back injury posed any challenge as he was able to dance just fine in the vmas and the 30th anniversary concert in 2001.

This man was so honest... They way he admitted why the album came out in different colors... They were kinda hoping that the fans would collect them, buying the same album five times. He just blankly said it was an economical idea. So sweet😅😅😅😅😅
