About thirty minutes in one of the people commenting mentioned Michael's "paranoia" showing through his music when he wrote Billie Jean and then mentioned later songs like "They Don't Care About Us" and "Scream ". I feel compelled to say this wasn't paranoia but him being vocal about his feelings in the public eye and under scrutiny (Scream) and making social commentary on racial injustice in "They don't care about us". Paranoia wasn't the right word and they should have never said it. MJ was deliberate and thoughtful in his musical messages.

By the time the Thriller album and the Billie Jean performance came out, Michael Jackson was no longer a disco star nor even just a member of the Jackson 5, he was a musical genius in his own right who changed pop music forever. Breaking away from the corporate hands of Motown, defying expectations of naysayers, overcoming dry spells in his music, and refusing to become old news in the eyes of the world, MJ persevered through all the obstacles to become a music god.

is it really? The main problem he spent 7 million on a video (and what a video! a masterpiece) - and why he didn't spend it on charities??? He spent over 300 million to charities. And you give that much time to that stupid argument??? And why should have MJ complain?? He was painted guilty without one iota of evidence. Johnny Depp had no right to complain in court ... by this logic. And really? it's just "he surrounded himself with yes-men"? OR he experienced he was betrayed even by the closest people around him. The maid, who stole from him and sold personal issues for a few hundred to the press... or his bodyguards... What if he experienced serious lack of trust for such a long time he found it difficult to trust anyone? He literally spent his whole life in a quarantene. People suffered ptsd after 2 years of quarantene. MJ lived in that for decades... Why do people keep interviewing the same boring judgemental people, who have zero empathy about the unparalelled circumstances he lived in? GHOSTS anyone?

There never has been and never will be again a legend as big as that of The Jacksons and particularly of Michael Jackson. If ever one entertainer knew how to hype a crowd, it was Michael Jackson, but then they were hyped up for very good reasons. His shows were truly out of this world, in terms of all the amazing effects and tricks that were involved. I will always regret that I was unfortunate enough to attend his Dangerous Tour when he was at Wembley, but the show when he was too ill to perform. If ever there was a performer I wish I could have witnessed performing live in person in front of my eyes, it was Michael Jackson, but that was not his fault that the show I was at, he was too ill to perform. His songwriting about current events and the state of the world were incredible. I think it is no wonder he was chased by large crowds. I had never before or since seen any one entertainer have the effect on their audiences that Michael Jackson had. RIP Michael, and I, for one fan, cannot thank you enough for the incredible entertainment you gave the world. I just want to mention that it has been proved, since his passing, that Michael DID have the disease vitiligo, which changes the pigment of a persons skin. Perhaps the lady who made the comment about changing his skin colour was unaware of that at the time of making her comment, but we have become aware he did have the disease vitiligo.

I tend to disagree. The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen and Guns N Roses were bigger than The Jacksons as far as Rock N Roll bands go. Because of Jackson's amazing talent, The Jackson 5 were a huge draw. Without Michael leading the way, J5 were mediocre at best. 2300 Jackson Street only sold half a million copies with Michael Jackson appearing only on the title song.

The Beatles, Queen, U2 and Maroon 5 are a few pop bands that outsold The Jacksons with/without Michael Jackson. The Eagles Greatest Hits Volume 2 is the biggest selling album in America. The Temptations, Earth, Wind and Fire, Boys II Men, Jodeci, The Isley Brothers are but a few Soul/Rhythm And Blues bands whose legacies are higher respected than The Jacksons. Sometimes I wonder if Moonwalkers are aware that there are many bands just as, if not moreso, talented than The Jacksons.

Great to listen to the sublime music of Michael Jackson alongside these iconic videos. A beautiful man with a beautiful soul, he escaped the rat race to find peace; Why do videos of Michael always stoop to making untruthful comments? The lady at 56 minutes states ' he changed his skin colour' , this is not the case, such statements perpetuate myths about someone who gave his all since the age of 5. At 1hr 3 mins, the same lady states that MJ lost direction; he did not lose direction, he went in different directions, so that his music was ahead of the times, what did she expect, the same every time? Gifted artists always experiment with different mediums. Videographers forget that billions of MJ fans know the facts and would love these videos to simply show love to honour the man, reflecting the facts, not skirting around the false allegations, editing the real issue of the 'trial by media and the targeted extortion', imagine if these falsehoods were targeted at you? Paul Gambaccini at 59 minutes states 'heal the world' is not healthy, what is healthy then? MJ was ahead of his time with regard to messages in his music, the world needs more musical messages, especially today. Mr Gambaccini also states that someone who has been around a long time would be uncomfortable with this? I have been around a long time, I am not uncomfortable with relevant messages in any of MJ's music and I am certain most of his 'older' 70's era fans are not uncomfortable either. In my opinion Invincible has messages that only his true fans know are within that particular album. Paul sounds like another white man knocking a black man and questions MJ's right to make Scream, MJ was telling the media he had had enough and still they persisted and helped destroy a human being who gave everything, you could see the decline in MJ's eyes. As a music expert, Mr Gambaccini, should show more respect for the musical genius that is Michael Joe Jackson, because this level of innovation will not come again in his, or my lifetime.

This is damn true! He was one of the few artists that truly love his fans. I can’t name perhaps two artist who loves their fans , Gaga & Rosalia but NEVER at the level MJ loved & cared for his fans, all the children of the world & our planet. No artist of this era ever talks about the condition of our planet , about the future , our children. Michael really really did. & I have to say very little fans to NONE care about the things Michael genuinely cared & Loved That’s the real legacy that he left us!

I still cry when I hear the announcement come over the air. I was headed out of my house to join friends for dinner and I was listening to the music and the announcement came over the air and I turned right around shut the door and started to cry so emotionally. I can't even tell you why this caught me so off guard. Dreaming of the day I could still see This Is It with Michael. Michael a few yrs older than me and posters in my room and can relate my lifetime events around him and his career. I reached some of my dreams as he showed me perseverance & more. Everytime I hear the announcement I try to hold in the tears, sadness rains over me and I sniffle uncontrollably from holding back the tears. I think that Dr Murray should be in jail for life for killing - Michael Jackson. Ex Dr. Conrad Murray is a murderer. I'm not quite sure why he did it but I'm sure money was in the scheme of things to gain from murdering Michael Jackson I'm sure he was paid dearly for it. 😳🙏🌹✝️😇🌻😭😭😇🤨🧐🙄

His story towards the end is so much like Elvis. Elvis was not feeling well and the colonel said no matter what he's going to go on so his doctor gave him something. In a video I saw Michael Jackson was rehearsing for his last show and then someone said they fear he maybe wouldn't be able to go on so his doctor gave Michael something then Michael died. Regarding Elvis and Michael the doctors will also charged and so many people around them who said cared for them could have said to the doctors enough is enough it's time for us to help these guys get clean. I'm sure an addiction is hard to kick and that's why they needed to have somebody to help them. As for them the saying goes The show must go on. It's because of the money that's all they care about such a shame. They both were so young Michael was 50 Elvis was 42. Michael was a king of Pop Elvis was was a king of rock and roll. Michael married Lisa Marie so there's all the similarities. I'm thinking that Michael started wearing his glove because that was around the time his skin started changing due to his rare skin condition and maybe his hand is where it started. It was so sad when he passed away I followed him since the Jackson 5.

Man I had the biggest crush on him when I was a kid, and I'm embarrassed to date myself like this, but I was 12 when MTV came out, and I used to sit and wait all day long sometimes just to see his videos. When Thriller came out, it was like a HIGHLY anticipated treat (they never overplayed that song, which was genius actually, but frustrating as a kid, lol). It literally meant you HAD to sit there and wait for that song. My generation played outside from sun up, till sun down, even in the snow, so that was a big deal to do that. There wasn't a single MJ video that I didn't like, but Thriller was epic.

First of all, 2 of the jurors said they were pressured into their verdict and that they felt he was guilty. Second, it was a fact that police found a naked photo of Jonathan Spence and a book of naked 8 year old boys (I saw the pictures and it is graphic) in his filing cabinet. Third, he's not found guilty because of one false accusation, this is numerous boys now claiming he was inappropriate with them. You have first hand testimony from Neverland employees that impropriety was occurring. If you bothered to look into it, the circumstantial evidence not to mention the things found in his home point to his undeniable guilt. So no - you should be ashamed of yourself for remaining willfully ignorant and perpetuating lies.

@@belladonna5904 If he was guilty he would’ve been found guilty in the court of law and I find it very hard that with all the security cameras at Neverland even cameras that were hidden in trees no evidence has been captured. The only thing that MJ did wrong was to trust the wrong people people that took advantage of him and his kindness and generosity The facts don’t lie people do. watch square one it will enlighten you with all the facts!!

@@belladonna5904 how ironic you are telling us to stop “perpetuating lies” when you straight up said a naked pic of Spence was found. There is no picture of a naked Spence found. The prosecution couldn’t even prove its existence. Yes he did own art photography books with naked children in it. He also owned books with naked women, men, etc. Plus it’s not like MJ went out and bought those books. Those books were given to him but fans (indicated by a message on the book saying “from your fan, Rhonda”) Also, the 05 trial technically proved 3 accusations were false simultaneously (Chandler, Francia, Arvizo), how? Most of the evidence used in the trial came from the 1993 raid. Also I love I you use the Neverland employer, the same employers that crumbled when cross examined. The “numerous boys” you mean MEN (they are grown ass men now) also have proven lies and inconsistencies/ plot holes in their stories. Please explain to me how Safechuck (claim abuse from 1988-1992 age 10-14) was abused in a Train Station that ain’t exist yet (Station built in 1994 James would’ve been age 16 past puberty. If you even dare say MJ abused him in 1994, 1. That goes against Safechuck own words of being abused from 1988-1992 AND it goes against his idea that MJ stop abusing children when they hit puberty) James also claims abuse after the 89 Grammys in NY even tho MJ wasn’t at those Grammys and the 89 Grammys weren’t in NY, it was LA. And if you wanna say “oh he meant the 88 Grammys in NY”, remember…… James claimed abused started in that SUMMER of 1988 (June) the 88 Grammys was March 1st 1988. Please explain this. Oh and one sided glass Safechuck claims? Where they could see out but no one can see in the rooms in the theater? Bs because we CLEARLY saw through the glass in the Oprah interview. I had a son in ‘83 and before he could walk when MJ’s music videos came on he would stand up and bounce his little butt in perfect timing to the music (I’ve got pics and videos of it) with his left arm extended out and his finger pointing! And this was so known by family and friends that on his Birthdays for years to come they would buy him the latest tapes, records and CD 💿 s for him! Our home was always filled with music and Michael Jackson was ALWAYS at the Center of it. We never bought in to the child abuse allegations and Always choose His Greatness to focus on. Whatever he did or not, he was an amazing talanted artist who left a legacy non can match. I believe the world is worse off for losing his talant too early, and its good to see another great piece of work from Amplified...

_"For future generation , they will just have the Records and the videos and the work will speak for itself"_ ❤️ damn yes ! I was only 20 and I became a MJ fan during Quarantine period, I just listen to his songs and MV first before tackling all the bizarre news and Media scrutiny against him. GenZ and Millennials have more access to Facts and accusations against him so we can finally see and prove his Innocence but compared to Old generation they just purely based his Persona and allegations based on tabloids and News against him.

Michael Jackson was a very peaceful soul and some people used that to their own advantage in a very brutal way to extort money from him. For crying out loud, he was also human and not immortal and sometimes he responded to all the lies that were told about him the only way a human being could. May his soul rest in perfect peace ❤❤❤

At my age of 36 I honestly have no favorite bands or what I can say a singer who I really admire and follow. No singer who have caught my interest in music yet. Been telling myself that maybe he/she wasn’t born yet to satisfy my taste in music. I realized couple of days ago that the artist I’ve been seeking and looking for was actually born before me. Can’t believe myself been watching MJ’s concert, interviews, documentaries and music videos for a couple of days now and time to time. Most of his awards was given to him 1984 backward and I was born 1986. When I was in high school I am a fan of A1 and Westlife but only because Ben and Shane are handsome. Not really because of their music or voice. Although they are good. But Michael Jackson is different. He is the KING of Music, King of Fashion, King of originality, King of Dance, and now the KING OF MY HEART! Sounds weird but.. it may look too late for me ‘coz he is dead already. But honestly In my heart and in my mind, HE IS ALIVE and FOREVER WILL BE ALIVE UNTIL I DIE. and I know the next people who will be born in this earth will become his fan too. Michael Jackson Fan counts will never stop. I guarantee you all that. He IS THE WONDER OF NEVERLAND. I hope he knew that. From 1:03:47 I literally cried but I admire him more. He kept on fighting and never give up and he still shows kindness. I never even heard him once to cuss out or say bad words to relieve his anger and sadness.

Why is Billie Jean seen from that reporter as it could*ve been his troubling or Paranoia as he mentioned it. I was in New York when that whole album was released You see The Girl is Mine was a decoy. They didn't know it at the time. Because , the bombs were coming. I remember WBLS playing Wanna Be Starting Something and Billie Jean. I knew that this was going to be an incredible journey. The whole album changed my trajectory. His success changed my trajectory. At the time Breakdancing and Hip Hop was on the comeuppance. So Michael's moves in the Thriller Era coincided with new MTV generation. Perfect timing. When he performed Billie Jean. I knew that he was now going to be in another stratosphere. His life was never going to be the same.

Michael Jackson was the greatest musical artist ever to live! The moment he opened his mouth he had everyone mesmerized on his every move. He knew it and practiced it and knew how to capture the audience. I believe he purposely left his black pants hemmed so high and used white socks against the contrast of black pants so everyone could see his fancy foot work when dancing! What a legend!
