Honestly, these hairdressers are OUTRAGEOUS. My hairdresser who I trusted, been to her multiple times, did my most recent style sooo tightly that it really weakened my edges. I had to take them out 2 weeks after I got them. I was so disappointed because she knows how I am with my hair. Anyway, going to nurse my hair back to health. Anyway, you look beautiful with this style!

Omg eishhh I definitely know the feeling. When I’m in Ghana I usually go to hair rack, very popular to the the Diaspora community. They do a good job working with natural hair, than some of the local shops although the price be pricing aha! If anything I would redirect them. What products do you use when braiding? You oil the scalp then, wet it, then seal in the moisture with leave in conditioner? Then wax then gel to blend your hair with the extension?

It’s it’s so important to tell the stylist what it is that they may be doing wrong! For ex: please don’t use that jell! Can you braid my hair hair while wet instead of blow drying it? Braid them loose not tight! “ sometimes we are afraid to do our due diligence by speaking up. After all it’s your hair! Hairstylist are not perfect. Some are willing to adjust their methods to accommodate you. But you have to say something first. Not waiting till after the appointment I over❤
