Not only because it sounds from the 80s, but because the lyrics talk about struggles of identity and wanting to be recognized. I mean, this part really fits to the Medic if he was talking to himself: When you can't even say... my name Has the memory gone? Are you feeling numb? That scene when guys were spitting blood, but as soon as they saw Venom, they stood at attention and saluted to him, who was sent to end their suffering... It's very touching, shows how much they respect Big Boss, that even in the face of death, when they coughing their lungs out, they still can find the strength to stand up straigth and salute to him... But maybe I'm wrong and it was something else, I'm just a random dude who only played MGRR and learns Solid series through memes and music videos, because my laptop hardly will run MGSV and I don't have any console of the previous generation to play in the previous games of this series.
