My headcanon intensifies. My headcanon: When Virgil was a dark side, he and Remus were friends, and basically they played musicals every Friday well the light sides watched Disney. Remus loved BJ, Virgil’s favorite was Dear Evan Hansen, and Deceit would go with anything that made the other two happy. Remus and Virgil would basically belt out BJ and Lydia’s parts respectively.

It's called Remus/Betelgeuse have no sense of personal space and so since they're begging Virgil/Lydia to say their name, they're getting close and begging. I would personally say don't read too much further into it because of the source of the audio. In the musical, Lydia is 15, so since this is an au, Virgil is probably 15-17 for this. (And BJ is implied to be hundreds of years old or at least 20 when equated to humans.)

This animation is incredible and I love the little details, but I think Virgil comes across as too angsty and spiteful. In context, Lydia is toying with BJ, knowing she has him on the hook. Virgil not smiling until the very end feels a bit out of character, since he's known to enjoy messing with others (especially Roman).
