This is not an invisiFRAME installation video per se, but rather a video discussing tips and tricks for successful installation on your bike. It's not the fastest or easiest process, and it's also not cheap, so I tried to be thorough, covering everything I could think of. I actually really like this style of video. There are many tutorials on KZbin from people who are doing it for the first time, so you are simply learning at the same time as they are. I really like that your video was filmed after completing the entire job, so you could share the tips and tricks you picked up along the way. Thank you.

Good video. After stressing out doing a full kit on my first bike, for my next bike I ordered a roll of vvivid for $35 and cut my own pieces, just for high wear areas. Much less stressful. There's no pressure to not mess up a piece because you can just cut another one. Also I'll do double layers on some spots. The Invis kit on my first bike got torn in places and I just ripped them off and replaced them with this stuff. The ghosting irritated me too, so I ordered another sticker kit and put the stickers on top of the vinyl. More expensive but easier on my eyes.

Thanks Justin! I like your tactic on this, and it's something I've thought about too. Much easier to cut and cover the areas that are prime for wear. Nice job using the power of stickers too!

Kevin Carter, I didn’t do a build video. I literally finished building mine the morning we left for Whistler for Crankworx last year, so I was super rushed. Hadn’t even bedded the breaks until up there. Have fun with yours; they are great bikes!!

Hi, nice video- thanks for the tipps! I put the Invis on my Decoy, in bad light nd after some time in bad mood.... 😂, so now i am pretty unhappy with some parts, especially the head tube. can i remove the Invis with a blow dryer and put it back on? thank you for your answer!

Haha, sounds like you had quite the adventure. I don't think it can be removed and reapplied once it dries, but I would reach out directly to invisiFRAME and see what they recommend. They always got back to me quickly, though who knows now with COVID. Good luck!

I think you did a great job! I took mine in to get done, and they got a tiny piece of food or something stuck right by the Intense logo on the head tube 😂. It drives me a little batshit but in reality my tracer is protected so that’s what I am gonna focus on. 8)

instructions say put fork decals over the top of the invis - works perfectly when you do that in my experience...costs a little more due to new fork decals.

Does your ibis have a stainless chainstay protector? If so mine fell off and I’m not sure what to use to remove the glue to put a new one on

It does. Right along the drive side chain stay where it is closest to the chainring. I would reach out to Ibis directly on this one. They are great. Ask for Kate, and tell her Kevin Hill sent you! 😊

Not really. I'm not sure if it would bond to itself or not, but I think it would leave a weird bubble and look odd.

To each his own. I can think of 100 things other people do every day (Starbucks, fast food, commercials, bad tv, social media, etc., etc.) that I would consider a waste of time. This was fun and challenging and has kept my bike looking great. Nothing wrong with that imo. Resale will be better too; just saying. :)
