I believe H&H are undertaking a major restoration of the Liverpool Met Organ. I enjoyed my one brief moment at the console there playing the Adagio from Widor 5. No Orchestral Trumpet for me. I have enjoyed listening to that organ in recital but in my opinion the quieter pieces worked better. I think the acoustic of the 'round' building makes it quite a challenge for loud and rapid organ passages.

I should add I'm loving David's recordings on this wonderful digital organ. When SJD have finished with it I could offer it a good home! Haha
