I was lucky enough to be able to help set up a INXS concert that was playing in my home town in Queensland Australia. I was 14 riding past the local Showgrounds where they where getting ready. So I just asked one of there roadies if I could help and to my surprise he said yes. I got to meet Michael and the band, tickets and backstage passes to the concert. WOW it’s something I’ll never forget. Loving your reactions keep it up baby girl.

Saw INXS at the Thomas & Mack Arena in Las Vegas in 1989 right after the KICK Album hit. I think I was 1 of 100 guys there out of 15k. I had my long curly hair just like Michael and needless to say.... after the concert, it was a very good night with the girl that took me to the show! Anyway, the show was fantastic....INXS will ALWAYS be on my "stay list".... Michael is, and will always be missed! RIP my brother, and thank you for so many great tunes that were the soundtrack of the mid to late 80s. Check out "Not Enough Time" by INXS.... you'll love it Sweetheart!

I was very fortunate to see INXS in Honolulu Hawaii back in September of 1988, while I was stationed there in the Marines. It was one of the best concerts I have seen. So much energy and fun. We were dancing in the aisles.

Michael Hutchence had some serious MAGIC. He was a gifted musician, incredible performer and a truly beautiful man. He was also witty, soft spoken and personally quite shy. New sensation was the first inxs song/vid i saw in the uk as a young teen in the 80's.he was georgous . You must check the live shows his charisma and stage presence was similar to Freddie Mercury. The papers said his death may have been an accident.they thought since he had his belt round his neck it might have been a sex thing gone wrong.either way it was a horrible way to go,too soon. He had a daughter tiger lily with paula yates who ditched her husband bob geldof for him.bob was the lead singer of the boom town rats and along with midge ure the lead singer of Ultravox responsible for the writing and organising the charity single do they know it's Christmas by band aid and the live aid concert. Micheal also went out with kylie minogue a fellow Aussie singer going since 87. Last year her 16th album(tension) was a hit and she's nominated for a grammy.currantly doing a residency in las vegas. The video was recorded in Prague, present day Czech Republic. At the time it was recorded, it was part of the previous country of Czechoslovakia, under the Iron Curtain of the USSR. It ws a major risk for a Western band to travel there at the time. Many places in the video still exist in nearly the same state, just with a lot more tourists. :)

I wonder how well Miss K branded knee pads would sell. I’d buy a pair. My fave INXS member was always the drummer. Finally got to meet him near backstage during the Australian Made concert. I was 17 at the time. I’m now 53. Spent the night chatting with amazing Aussie artists. Chaperone father watched from afar until INXS came off stage and made a beeline towards me talking to the drummer. I had never been so mortified in my life by my father refusing an open beer by saying he didn’t want to catch any of the drummers germs.
