Wait until you see Michael Hutchence in the video for "Never Tear Us Apart"! You are going to faint. Also, "Not Enough Time" is hot and "Beautiful Girl" is beautiful (duh!)

@@hahatoldyousoMichael Hutchence and Andrew Farriss is the greatest native songwriter duo in Australia 🇦🇺. Similar situation in Canada 🇨🇦 with Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance .

Saw this band live in the late 80's... Michael Hutchence was sex on feet. And I am a male... the guy was on another level. X

40 years 🎂 Written by the late Michael Hutchence and Andrew Farriss. Produced by Nile Rodgers. In the same year, he produced a Madonna album, including the song Like a Virgin. Guest singer in the chorus here is Daryl Hall. Three years later, John Oates traveled to Australia 🇦🇺 to record a song with Icehouse. Suggested videos 📹: 1 INXS perform New Sensation 2 Icehouse and John Oates perform Electric Blue.

Also, Mick Jagger "She's The Boss" album. Nile Rodgers was on fire! 🔥 He was producing multiple projects simultaneously.

@seanswinton6242 Update. In an Apple 🍎 podcast. Bryan Adams considered hiring Ne Rodgers to produce Reckless and 1 album afterwards. Rodgers was surprised 😮. But, he was busy 😖 with the other musicians.

They are talking about the original sin of mixed relationships. Pretty controversial in the day it came out and quite a brave song to release . It was one of INXS's first big hits . They became one of the biggest bands in the world till Michael untimely death . Check out their live Wembley show , especially Suicide Blond.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but this song WAS NOT written about interracial relationships. It was written after watching small children playing happily together in a park and wondering why adults couldn't do the same.

It always amazes me that Americans think this song was "brave" and "contraversial" It wasn't in Australia. Our cultures are different. It was a message of UNITY, not division. And the Australian public LOVED it.
@DavidCalvert-mh9sy6 ай бұрын
The band INXS came from the Australian city on Perth, the most remote city on the planet. But their song writing and musical talent dominated Australian music for a long time. And every teenage girl, (and a lot of older women), lusted after the lead singer Michael Hutchence. We poor Aussie males had no look in at the time.

I saw them at The Spectrum in Philly. We shook the building! Better song is: Listen Like Thieves, which is so good people blamed them for lip syncing, and he’s hot AF. He got ‘knocked off’ too. This isn’t one of their better songs. I APPRECIATE you. 🩷🌸
