Though there was 5 bands on beforehand, as INXS were the headliners for this brilliant day & night gig. ✌️🇦🇺

The swagger of Jagger and the sex appeal of Morrison, with a better voice than either. No one made love to a mic and held a crowd in the palm of his hand like Michael Hutchence. Humble brag, I met and hung out with him and the band twice in the 90s, and was actually onstage for a song during their Dirty Honeymoon tour in ‘94

I was one of the 70k+ there at the old packed Wembley Stadium in this video, 'Summer XS' with Debbie Harry (Blondie), Jesus Jones, Roachford, Hothouse Flowers, Jellyfish topped by the fantastic INXS amazing day/night event.

Don't worry Millie, INXS has a lot of great songs for you to experience. The entire album Kick, which this song was on, is awesome. But, earlier stuff like The One Thing, Don't Change, Listen Like Thieves are worth checking out, as well. Their song form the Lost Boys soundtrack, Good Times, which features Jimmy Barnes, that song is fire!!!

INXS were at their peak at the time of this concert. After three big albums during the mid to late 80s ,Their international music cred was huge. A couple of their albums after this tour were still good, but the 90s music scene was a different vibe. Their biggest hit singles were during the 80s

I was there when they first hit the scene. Shaboo Shabaa. First album is iconic. I am that person that you want to be reincarnated into for music. Born in 1965. I remember the Beatles all the 70's, 80's, and still only 27 years old when Nirvana showed up. I had it good. Plus my parents were born in the late twenties. So big band music also played in the house. They're awesome too.

Umm sorry wasnt Shaboo Shabah there first album, there was 2 before that, INXSIVE and underneath the colours. The single The loved one, Just keep walking and then Stay young. all before Shaboo Shabah

IN -X- S or IN EXCESS is the proper pronunciation. I was in the Army during the 80s, if there was band still working then I probably saw them. I was in Germany 🇩🇪 for the entire time throughout the 80s and Europe DOESN'T F_CK AROUND!! Concerts in Europe is the only way to see iconic bands. I had a blast living through that decade!!

'INXS': translates to 'In Excess' ... Excellent 'Pub' band... Go surfing all day,.. Then spend your evening at the local pub listening to high quality home grown music and enjoying a few beers. Different times perhaps??? An Australian right of passage for most bands, 'doing the hard yards', or Australian culture, or both. Most successful bands followed the same path.
@Ellery-s7j2 ай бұрын
Pronounce it (In Excess). Michael went to school in HK which is why he moves so well (he studied kung fu). His voice and the sax have the same tone in places.

You are absolutely right, Millie. No phones. I feel so sorry for your generation. It totally missed out. The technology ruined (and ruins) the experience now. It's heartbreaking. Can't you just feel the power? This is what it was like. And yes... the pronunciation is "in excess." I have to say, on a different note, showing the video in the background is a real drag. You should show the video without anything in front of it. Why? Because if this is the first time someone has seen the video, they're missing out, especially this one. Please stop this.

I think I've checked out at least one of your vids before. I'm a reaction addict, and I watch 2 to 3 hours of reactions every single night. Since I follow so many reactors, I've gotten TOO picky. I personally prefer pauses rather than talking over the song. I had to click off before the 2 minute mark, because it frustrated me that you spoke OVER the song so much. Obviously I want to see/hear your reaction, but I also wish for you to hear everything. When you talk, even if you don't think so, you ARE missing things. You are a charming young lady, but that sort of thing isn't for me. BUT, you should of course do what you feel you should do. I wish you luck and hope for success for you at this.
