drby0788 I am not sure if Michael became addicted to heroin under the influence of Paula, or if he was already 'dabbling'. I realize he was a man who experimented in many things. Love this song, no matter how old let it come on anywhere in mall, restaurant, club, and watch people, their face will light up. Some bands just get it and make music that will rock generations after being made.. and this is one of those bands and one of those songs that does just that!!!!!!

This is the era of INXS I loved the most. They had an edgy kind of energy and style that was very unique. Not that I didn't love Kick and the later albums, but at that point they started sounding/looking more mainstream and it became more about Michael's sex appeal. Their songs lost that unique quirkiness they had on this album and The Swing.

@hutch1197

coolsweetgroovy During the Kick and X era, they borrowed a lot from the Rolling Stones and had more of a pop/dance sound. Not saying that was bad music, but before that, they had more of a unique and creative sound. Their early music and lyrics were more edgy than Kick. It's not a diss on the band, but just an observation.

Do YOU remember the day you found out Hutch died? I sure do. And the next morning at work, my supervisor played a heartfelt tribute over the loudspeaker in the form of some INXS tunes. Amazing how individuals who seemingly have little in common can bond over a common appreciation for a true art icon of their time.

Hell yeah. We need more sax in music these days rather than the horribly annoying, soul-less 808 hi hat ticking and auto tuned falsettos that sound like someone’s castrating Elmo and for some god-awful reason has become so popular it now basically permeates all genres lol.
