Your video had the best explanation of where and how to set up the flow gauge reader. That part was very confusing to me in the instruction manual.

Hi. I have a brand new cleaner. My cleaner moves for a few feet then stops. There is plenty of suction. But I can’t get it to continuously clean. Thank you

Hi I have a new Navigator pool cleaner, and it has a lot of suction according to my pool serviceman. Would too much suction cause it to tip over? It is tipping over on its side but it rights itself eventually and continues on. The last service tech took a section of hose out saying I didn't need it, (not because of the tipping over) but since he did that it seems to be tipping more. Would that be the cause or would it be the suction? I wouldn't think having too much suction would cause it to tip. It usually tips in the center of the pool at both shallow and deep end. It doesn't climb either. My pool is super clean and so it doesn't pick up a lot of debris, so I don't think it's important for it to climb. Any advice appreciated!

Hi. What's the purpose of the leader hose? Does it have a swivel connector? My Pool Vac XL does not have a leader hose and wondering if I need one.

Thank you for your reply. I try everything but the hose kept twisting together. Wonder if I need to replace all the hoses or replace the cleaner! Any advice?

Hello Dannie - There could be an issue with the gears. Try pulling the cleaner up towards the deck of the pool but keep the head under water. Hold the hose just above the cleaner. See if the cleaner slowly spins one way, stops, and then spins the other way. If it doesn't, you want to start by cleaning the gear box. Check out this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/fHLbiqKHqM9qhrs

@@Inyopools Hi, I brought the cleaner to Leslie to check if anything wrong with it, but nothing wrong with it! Now I wonder if I need to change a few section of the hoses or all do it?! Or should I replace the cleaner instead. Can you help?

We have purchased a new navigator and it will work fine for awhile then it wants to come off the bottom and float. We have owned one of these for 20+ years without problems. We can't cut out main drain all the way off or the pressure at the pump goes too low. We do not have the in line connection only skimmer connection. Any ideas for us?

I don't have a "main drain" labeled pipe, there's a "cleaner" then a pipe labeled "suction" ...is this the main drain? I tried partially closing the skimmer but saw no difference in suction. I am new to this pool thing!

If the cleaner line and suction line both go to the intake of the pump, the suction line must be the skimmer. This video may help you ID the lines. kzbin.info/www/bejne/naLSgKmlocdnpKs

My Hayward pool cleaner hoses kept tangle together. Any hint to solve the problem for me?!

They can build up memory over time. Try pulling them apart and reassembling them randomly. If the hoses are curled, you can try leaving them in the sun or putting them in a bathtub with hot water. That should help them straighten out.
