It's superb that they're listening the Sims community, and makes sense as they're massively influenced by that game themselves, yet it feels like they've taken in every single complain everyone's had about the EPs, kits, and so forth in the Sims 4 and corrected them in the base game. Imagine if you painstakingly went through every bit of that game and found everything shown in this game, just how much has been given to us and proving how much more Inzoi is giving us in this one thing? I know everyone is calling this 'base game' already, but, do the makers of Inzoi intend on releasing expansion packs? Will we get a pets pack that doesn't have cats, dogs, rabbits, horses, and rodents sold separately unlike Sims 4?

I love the way the world of InZoi actually looks lived in. The sidewalks and roads look worn with cracks and stuff, the cars aren't parked perfectly. It's awesome

I hope they add a beach for the Los Angeles city, it would be cool. It would be realistic if they allow npc to wear clothings and items that follows the seasons, cause currently npc don’t react to the weather. Shivering without winter clothes in winter would be cool..and cold breaths for winter would be good. Npc wearing Umbrella and raincoats for rainy days would be cool too. Update: They already add a beach 😭❤️

I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who found the time in Sims4 going too fast in a day and I didn't even have kids. Could barely complete anything in time especially gaining a skill level. Yes, in real life everything is rushed but in the gaming world where you want to relax you should be able to take your time to have fun.

I feel like this is also due to the fact that the sims 4 “AI” is horrendous and most of the time you’re just waiting for an interaction that you ordered your sim to do to happen. In Minecraft a day is also around 20 minutes but it still feels longer than in the sims 4 at most points because you get to do much more than just wait around until your sim is done doing random pushups because they’re energized from their morning coffee or waiting until your sim finally put a toddler in a high chair - only to take the toddler out 3 seconds later…

I never abandoned The Sims but I do play 3 a WHOLE LOT more than four. Inzoi seems to capture much of what I love about TS3 while also giving us GTA+ level graphics. And what could you NOT love about the idol career track. I just hope my computer can handle it all.

This game looks visually stunning. I would say I won’t give up on the sims because of course it has its own uniqueness to it. Even though the loading screens are aggravating . But me being a person who is very fond of realism in games, I’m absolutely excited to see more game plays in this game. I would also choose longer time in the games. With the sims 4, you know how in in events there was a time limit. Well one of them I didn’t get enough time to do everything on the list. But it’s okay because I had to just start over.

My only wish for inzoi is that it's somewhat challenging - or that you can choose the difficulty. My biggest complaint about the sims is that it's just sooooo easy. You can become best friends with someone in one day. You can progress to the top of your career so quickly. You can become mega rich without even trying. It's like playing with safety bumpers on. I'd like my zoi to really struggle before they become successful - or even for them to work hard so their children can be successful! It'd be great if massive wealth took generations to incur! (if you wanted)

They are aware of the concerns and they are optimizing with the latest engine and using technology such as Lumen and Nanite to lower the burden as best they can. I don’t think it will be as bad as we fear but we’ll find out soon.

@@SugarZoi To be honest I'm not that worried about flashy graphics and as long as it chugs along at low levels I'll be happy. What I am really hoping for is more depth in gameplay, something Sims 4 is severely lacking in. For example, and I know it's not a huge thing, one thing I really miss from Sims 3 is the ability to jam together with musical instruments. We may yet see it in Sims 4 but I'm not holding my breath.

Inzoi right now seems one of the most ideal life simulation games. I really hope we'll get a good gameplay and the interactions between our zois won't be lifeless like sims 4. In sims 2 and 3, mostly 2, there was so much life brought through the interactions between the sims.

I haven't seen too many play testers walk around the cities but we've seen a lot of them walking around Bliss Bay beach and theme park and it did not seem lifeless to me. There is also a setting in City Edit where you can control the population density. If your computer can handle it, crank it up to maximum. That's what I'm planning on doing. 😅

i was 11 when sims 4 was released and i played it ever since, but over time i grew bored and as i got older i even got aggressive and frustated bc the day was to short or my sim passed out bc they didnt do anything or the sims canceled an interaction on its own, so i stopped playing. when i first saw inzoi i thought its just gonna be another sims stuff but its so much better than sims. im so excited and i cant wait to play inzoi. i cant wait to just lean back and chill, explore the world and let drama unfold but in a chill way. inzoi isnt perfect yet, but what game is? i cant wait to play it, the devs did a great job so far!

What I miss in inZoi atm is lunacy. Everything seems so grown up and responsible. Sims was so messy and unpredictable in time. I really hope that some things really throw the player out of the loop. Sims had Grim Reapers, Fairies and Vampires, life fruits and money trees. That made it magical and whimsical. InZoi seems like the rich dytopia in which everybody hasn't anything to worry about. In a way I feel depressed seeing a Zoi living a life hyperrealistic perfect life, that I will never have. I'd rather watch my Sim get electrocuted trying to repair a PC or my shower getting stolen by a thief with a black and white striped shirt, while my Sim runs around like a maniac without being able to call the cops. Right now, I don't really see any challenges in the game, that would make the game interesting and fun. We'll have to wait and see how challenging and replayable the game will be. The Create a Zoi mode seems to be geared towards creating super models and the Zois that populate the cities look like super models. I hope there will be more ugly and messy things, because these things make life and life simulation interesting. I need authentic conflicts, that emerge organically. After all, it's a game, that wants to be played, with its own rules and not real life. I want to do horrible and cruel things to my Zois, because it's not serious. I want to delete the pool stairs and watch them drown, because my Sim has an Evil trait and because the Landgraabs don't deserve any better. I hope there will be some magic to this game too. I hope this game doesn't take itself too serious in the end.

Maybe it’s an error in translation or the joke is going completely over my head. 😅 Edit: I thought more about what you’re asking and reading your other comment on my other video, I understand now. My apologies. 🙏🏻 I think you are referring to the military career path in Sims 4. I do not think we have any military career path yet in inZOI. And for sports, we only have a few sports so far but nothing very detailed yet. I’m sure they will add more gameplay mechanics for sports in the future. I'm here for the interior & architectual design. Creating thousands of realistic houses etc. YES PLEASE!!! I do so hope that the game can also be used strictly as design mode & not just an interactive game that has to be played with the characters created. I'm never more content than when I spend hour upon hour creating & designing homes in The Sims 3 & never bother with the actual Sim characters. On top of the pre-installed items, I also have well over five thousand custom downloads that are strictly all for building & design mode & the fact that it causes lag is something I'm willing to put up with if it means being able to create. I can't wait to see what inZOI comes up with.

I think InZoi is better so far, but I also feel like I’m gonna play The Sims more personally. I feel like I’m gonna be overstimulated by InZoi not to where I won’t like it, but just to were I prob won’t get the most out of it. I think it’s so great for a lot of players that have been trying to get a more realistic game with storytelling and depth and they can finally have that without mods. Also great to have an alternative for when I’m pissed at the sims for breaking their game again with a new update. Or when I do want to play something where I can fully play like a proper life simulation. I’m just more of a challenge person (ex. Hot take: inZOI is a bit TOO realistic. I'm sure it will be fun, but there's no "aesthetic" to it. No unique charm. Even the UI is kinda generic, with the same grey blur that every other thing has these days. I guess I just prefer something more stylized, like The Sims 3. I’m wondering if the UI will change a bit after this second round of play testing which has a lot of players (some of which has not played the Sims before). I think inZOI does have a certain aesthetic, it’s just not stylized as you said. It may be hit or miss with some players. I loved the look of Sims 3. It’s probably my favorite out of the series if you twisted my arm and made me choose. 😅

The reason why The Sim 4 lack open world environments and has stylized graphics is because most people only have low end PCs back in 2013.

I don't know, this seems like one of the modern games that is all about aesthetic and good graphics, but got no value of gameplay. I already saw some youtubers playing and the game looks boring, is like a pretty walking person simulator. I know everything is just starting and more content will be released, but eh. Similar to Life by You i think the producers are biting more than they can chew, people are having too much expectations that will probably lead into deceptions.

You saw the playtest in its early stage... and in fact, the game is still in its infancy. It will be releasing first on early access (an unfinished game). Whoever chooses to participate in early access will hopefully be providing constructive feedback to make the game better. The devs have stated they want meaningful gameplay so I'm sure they will be added a lot more to it than what was seen during the November 2023 playtest. But everyone should keep expectations in check, like you said. The game is taking its baby steps now. It will grow into something grand if we allow it to.

Inzoi looks amazing 😮 I am still not that sold on the super realistic style and open world as it really lagged my computer when I played sims 3. But I love the toggle to choose your 24 h to be either 43 or 96 min compared to 24 min that feels so short. Honestly this game seems to be so interesting. As someone who has a very long and toxic relationship with sims and loved sims 2 and sims 3 I am just sad at the state of sims 4 and the downhill spiral in quality of the game. Yet I still would hope the new lifesimulator competitors might push EA to improve their game: work on the bugs, game mechanics and just make it better than it is.

I have no complaints as of now and I’m fully ready to support and buy the game but I do hope that they will be open in honesty about micro-transactions in game. Don’t surprise us later, just come out and be honest now. Thats my issue with EA, they lie about fixing issues and it’s a turn off. If you plan on finessing the sims community with micro-transactions say it before I go preorder. I’m not spending another $1200 on ANY GAME.

EA released a bare bones product at launch and even after 10 years of expansion packs it is still lacking features that InZOI is going to launch with. The Sims 4 is even lacking a lot of features that it’s predecessors had too. Using Life by You’s promises and outcome is what is stupid thinking. Just because they couldn’t deliver doesn’t mean InZOI won’t. These are completely different companies and were also offering different things.

I barely drove cars in Sims3.... and I don't play with toddlers or kids in Sims4. They are useless in MY game. Everyone plays differently, so to say that these features are essential for better gameplay is untrue. For developers to overload their game with them, like Paradox did with Life by You, will saturate the game's memory. Having all that in the basegame, plus what you'll add (mods, cc) will definitely lean on the games performance. Exactly what you're witnessing in Sims4. I'll pass.

Nobody said these features are *essential* for better gameplay - just that they are features this game has that the Sims 4 still does not have. Just because you personally may not get much use out of it or do not value it highly doesn’t mean a vast majority of other players will not. As you said, everyone plays differently - but the difference is that those who enjoy having cars can actually play, have and drive cars in InZOI, when they simply cannot do it on the Sims 4. What you’re witnessing with the Sims 4 is EA offering little engaging gameplay and just trying to patch in superficial additions that they think they can monetise. The impact on the performance comes from there being such a bare bones initial game, built to support minimal actual gameplay and that for a lot of players requires a lot of additional features just to be enjoyed at all. The strain on the performance primarily comes from the fact that the base game was not built to handle all of these additional features - which will not be the case with InZOI. Of course all of the features InZOI plans to release with will be performance hindering in themselves, but it’s not anywhere near as much of a problem as it would be if the game was initially built not to handle any of these features and then tried to just cram them in much later or rely on modders to attempt to put them in.

Watching this, I'm concerned about the minimum system requirements. Most FPS games using Unreal Engine 5 require A 3060 and 16GB of RAM... I can't imagine what adding an open world, traits, customization, and driving is gonna require.

The sheer number of packs combined with the missing base game features leaves The Sims 4 feeling surprisingly empty, even with all the additional content. It’s disheartening to see the Sims community consistently creating superior content, such as "complete themed" sets and essential gameplay features by modders that should have been included from the start. This makes the base game feel like an unfinished product. The absence of basic colors like black and white, along with countless incomplete sets in all categories, is truly frustrating. Even fundamental interactions lack essential animations. A bunch of those animations are even very bad compared to TS2. The list of oversights is extensive. I won’t invest any cash in this game until the next generation is released and on a massive sale. It simply isn’t worth the current price tag.🙃 I prefer Paralives. Their design, features, and music are appealing - it looks timeless to me. 😉While Inzoi offers impressive realism, it's not really my first choice.🤔 I’ve seen that filters can create a more cartoonish look, which might be a viable alternative.🧐 I’m definitely open to trying it. However, some animations make me feel uncomfy, so I’ll need to explore the game further before making a judgment. Regardless, the potential of Inzoi is exciting. We need more diversity in this LifeSimGenre. I eagerly anticipate more competition for EA, encouraging them to improve, deliver better content, and prioritize gameplay. I am 41 years old and I still continue to be more attracted to games with a colorful or artistic aesthetic than a realistic one, even if the plot is not entirely cheerful. Because I know so many games that look realistic and use motion capture and such and still feel very fantasy and magic-Esque. Honestly so so optimistic for inzoi. after being fed $50 breadcrumbs by the sims for so long, its so great to see such a promising new game, one that ACTUALLY considers its audience! still I will say that this is just a demo, and its hard to form a concrete opinion. Theres still ALOT that can be improved on (diversity in CAZ, more jobs, less traffic that will make people actually want to drive, Cutscenes, more meaningful interactions etc) and though krafton has said they will work on it, we cant be for certain. Theres also the issue that it doesn't seem to have the same "charm" that sims have. Yes, they're both lifesims, but they're targetted towards a very different audience. Inzoi seems to lean into realism while the sims embraces wackiness. Right now it sorta feels like theyre just checking off boxes on what makes a life sim, if ygwim. We have no idea what the future holds, but I'm really hoping for the best for this game

All very thoughtful concerns/ideas. They are working hard on improving the game and incorporating playtester’s feedback. As you said they are still in early development and I know there will be a lot of changes as the game continue to develop. One of the main things that gives me much hope for the game is the dev’s love for this game, their devotion to it and their willingness to engage and listen to the community’s feedback.

I am so glad they realize that the Sims has way too short of days. that always bothered me. It seems so obvious yet EA persists and never changes the age old flaws with their game.
