IOG - Skill Building Session: Building a Sustainable Model for Science Outreach

IndiaBioscience launched the 1st IndiaBioscience Outreach Grants (IOG) in 2020. We are presently in the third call cycle of the grant, 3rd IOG and soon we will be launching the 4th IOG call. Through our outreach efforts, we aim to build a community of independent researchers who are willing to take up outreach initiatives and collaborate with other communities (students, science communicators, artists, NGOs, and educators) towards the practice of science outreach.
Towards this, we conduct the skill-building sessions for IOG awardees to grow and nurture the IOG community beyond it being only a grant for science outreach and beyond the tenure of the grant. By facilitating skill development for IOG awardees, we hope to create a meaningful and lasting impact on science outreach in India.
