Most helpful! I had to sync through iCloud until I set the phone to forward messages to the iPad. It works great in both directions instantly!

I have a lot more space in my phone than in my iPad and I’ve always left messages forever, but my iPad says it’s full even though I’ve removed half of the photos and messages it still says it’s full but I noticed that the messages I removed out of my phone did not come out of my iPad automatically so I’m hoping this helps, it is still thinking lol but I was able to sync a few other things thanks for your help

for me, the fix was logging out and back into icloud on the ipad, now i can snyc to my iphone with SMS using my wifi only ipad. thanks!

I was able to receive my messages from my phone to my iPad but once I took my phone away cause I had to go to another city iPad send me a notification saying that I was sign out and I stopped receiving my messages on my iPad. Is there anyway my iPhone and iPad still receive messages if the are miles apart???
