Another video said it only works with the controller that ships with the XBox 1 S (model number 1708) or the new Elite 2 controller that doesn't come out until November. Other XBox controllers don't have Bluetooth functionality (which is what you need to connect to Apple devices).

Jackson Graham once iOS 13 comes out any Xbox controller will work iOS 13 is not out yet but this guy has the beta version so unless you have the beta it won't work but iOS 13 will come out in fall and when you get it you can use a regular wireless controller
