I wish iOS 18 or iOS 18.1 when it comes to update to iOS 18.1 they put this feature I'd love to see in iOS 18 that would make charging more convenient. Currently, when I charge my iPhone with a USB cable, I have to wake up the phone to check if it's fully charged, which can be time-consuming-especially if I'm trying to go to sleep. It would be helpful if iOS had a feature where the iPhone could make a sound (like a bell) or even a voice when it's reached 100% battery, without needing to check manually. This way, users would know when their device is fully charged, even while it's in sleep mode, without needing to wake the phone to check. This would be especially useful when charging overnight, allowing us to rest peacefully without worrying about overcharging.

And Android is becoming more like iOS. Even Samsung recognizes the power of an ecosystem and they’re starting to create that for their products and services. Fact is, less and less people care about this individuality mentality of Android and Android knows that they probably need to be more “locked down” with their software and hardware. Look at all the things Android has done with their phones that are similar to what Apple has done with their iPhones.

You could listen to music and record video in prior versions of iOS..... instead of going to Video mode (stops music) just start recording video from the Photo mode, music doesn't stop.

iOS 18 made Siri on my 14 pro worst. I used to ask how many steps I’ve walked and she would tell me, now she tells me she can’t help me with that and to look at the fitness app. Most of the time she won’t speak out loud or she just answers with a “huh?”. I used to be able to ask follow up questions, for example, I would ask for the weather and after she would answer I could ask for the weather in a different location without the need to say hey Siri. Not anymore. Hopefully there’s an update next week to fix this before 18.1.

mm another good reason I switched to a 24 ultra from an iPhone 14 pro a couple days back. First the lack of actual change from the 14 pro to the 16 pro, was hoping for a smaller dynamic island, and changes to the os that apparently my android can do better either way. Still keeping my 14 pro for a bit because I like the camera on it slightly better and I also the LiDAR is nice for measuring things.

Anybody else have their battery destroyed by apples beta program you literally couldn’t back out of? Took my Apple Watch from 95-82% battery in the 6 months it was forced to stay on my watch and my phone’s did something similar. It's amusing how some will be wowed by these since they have been on Android for years now ( as early as the S3 ) , I however view this as making the switch from iPhone to Android less traumatizing, while at the same time make those who switch from Android to iPhone feel short changed because there is still features lacking. One for example is the muting an incoming call just by flipping the phone face down. ( just saying )
