That's exactly why I switched to the 16 Pro Max this year despite being a life long Android fanboy. A phone is a phone, it takes calls and does useful stuff for you. It's not meant to replace a computer. I'm a computer power user, but I don't think any smartphone is to any capacity and ever will be. And the niche advantages that Android does have over Apple are so ridiculous and only used as a "gotcha" moment when it comes to comparing the two. It's so funny how I'm switching too in a year where it seems like every Apple fanboy is switching over to those Z Flips (which I hate tbh, my mom had gotten one and it broke in the first month) and the Apple hate is only getting stronger. In a year where RAM has increased, battery life has gotten stronger, software improved, and so much more people choose to ignore all of it and focus on how the phone looks the same on the outside after a year which is ridiculous. Do you want even larger wonkier cameras?

Apple doesn't like to give that much control to their users. Settings have to be toddler proof because the majority of iPhone users would change the EQ setting, hate it, and then be too dumb to change it back. Then they would blame Apple because "my iPhone speakers suck."

Still on waitlist after a few hours but the ChatGPT integration is so far my favorite. I just wish that it would speak the response every time (so far it seems random). The Visual Intelligence feature is cool but I just wish it would go straight into the ChatGPT option and not give me the Google option (don't care about google lens) -- just automatically take a picture and analyze it without any further input.

there's an option that forces it to speak every response. its barried in the settings somewhere it might actually be in the siri tab in settings or in accessibility but i recall seeing it as an option in the settings that allows you to force always text respond only or force speak response. hope this helps!

It basically was because when you would put in he pin it would double click the send button and it thought it was a bot or something so it triggered the bot warning and wouldn’t let you login. Basically when you type in your pin don’t click return just tap on the screen and manual click the login button
