For iPadOS want more apps in Stage manager, ability to keep an app running in background (great for file downloads ), ability to separate sound streams (great for podcasting), improved file manager (same level as finder on mac) improved support for extra RAM and USBC accessories - improved apple apps

Definitely feels like the closer we get to WWDC, the more tamped down the expectations are. 3-6 months ago it was going to be the biggest change to iOS in history…now we’re just getting a refinement and polishing. 😂

Apple Maps: I’m holding out for full-time, native ratings, reviews, and photos. The present reliance on third party companion apps ruins the experience for me.

What I really what is the following 5 thing: 1. Better Keyboard 2. Better Keyboard 3. Better Keyboard 4. Better Keyboard 5. Better Keyboard I get a headache every time I have tried to use the Apple keyboard. I switch to Swifty keyboard which is a little better but not the same experience as it is on Android. A former Android user and that is one of the things I missed the most.

Years ago I switched from Apple Maps to Google Maps but then this year iPhone’s CarPlay forced me back to Apple Maps. Yes, it has gotten better but I still prefer Google’s maps because of its “eye in the sky” look. You can see actual roads and buildings instead of the Apple cartoon looking minimalist screen. Really enjoy your work. Thank you!

OK, cosmetic changes to the UI, good but later, what about the really necessary fixes to the under-the-hood areas of the operating system? (open control center to 3rd party apps, multitasking with 2 apps or windows on the display at the same time, overlapping processes, etc). Thx!

How about Apple Maps actually pull up places that are relative to your location when you search. I’ll be looking for a store near me and about 99% of the time it shows me places in different states. I could be typing McDonald’s and it’s either A. Going to show me one in another state or hours away or B. Show results that aren’t even McDonalds.

Apple Maps: A caveat of the Apple ecosystem is that they are collecting info from only a select number of map users. This is where Google Maps has a sharp advantage. More sources = more info for planning any trip.

That one Apple Maps feature to make custom routes is amazing. Before smartphones Mapquest had this feature. Really helpful getting around DC if you know the roads to take. Google Maps or Apple Maps won’t ever suggest certain roads. 🤞iPad pro developer mode, usb c Mac accessories, smart home Matter integrations, let us choose AI assistant.. 🐬

I mainly use my M1 iPad Pro for video editing, photo editing and watching movies. M1 never slow me down, I don’t see the M4 will benefit much other than better screen display. Unless Apple gives certain Apps specifically for M4.
