Ive been using iOS 17.5.1 since the date of its release and I notice a major bug with the cellular connectivity, eSIM doesn’t work as expected, where I could use it for calls and texts but I couldn’t hardly find any signal bars on my phone, tried hard rebooting my device, checked for a carrier update, no use!😢

I have IOS 18 beta 2 on my iPhone 11 and seems stable for the most part. Battery life however seems to be about 2 hours before needing to be charged. This is on a battery with 83% health. The phone also gets very uncomfortably warm during use

Hi Aaron I had a bug the hot spot would disappear all together I clicked on mobile then going to that and there is hotspot click on hotspots and then it was on Settings on the first screen in settings but over all no other bugs working well on my 15 pro max in Australia I am on the latest update happy over all👍

On iPad RCS, it still uses the iPhone handoff instead of using the Cellular SIM number inserted on iPad (SIM card or eSIM). This is the same on Mac - just the usual handoff support

I said YOLO on it and installed iOS 18 on my main device and I have to say, it’s surprisingly good. Battery life is good, maybe a tiny bit degraded in some areas, but almost the same. Performance is okay, there are some slowdowns and stutters here and there, some bugs, especially with the new home icons and control center, and the settings app is slow right now, but other than that, not a ton bad. I love all the little changes so far and I’m excited for more dark icons to start coming.

I have a couple of bug requests outstanding. My icons lose their graphics over time until I touch them and wake them up. I also added 3 hardware security keys and now it continually asks me to add security keys.

The new Airpods firmware for APP2 is doing some weird stuff when I play music it is loud the very first 10 seconds from the start of a song then the volume decreases. Mine have. Kind of like the volume level when you activate Siri. It’s gotten better now, but the first few days both my phone was over heating and freezing and the AirPod problems. It all seems to be working now like it fixed itself. Weird

They are already there. Just swipe from the edge of the screen on either side. Not all apps implemented, but all of Apple’s apps do and the OS itself.

It makes you wonder, when does Apple start development on new versions of their operating systems? I know bugs are expected with a beta, but I thought Apple does developments in tandem, so iOS 19 would be in planning and code starts checking in December and I am sure there are features being developed in parallel with an aim for the version after.

I've been on iOS 18.2 on my iPhone 15 Pro for almost a week, and every day I find that the app images on my home page have all disappeared (it's just the grid thingy they have as a placeholder). Most of the time I can tap on the app and exit and find the image is back, but then it resets sometime during the night while I’m sleeping. Don't worry, I reported this already. I'm just surprised the YT peeps I watch aren't experiencing this issue. My Apple apps also like to stay in dark mode after light mode has come into effect (until I tap on the app).

Sometimes I have an issue with the audio with iOS 18 when I switch back-and-forth between apps that use audio sometimes the volume drops down very low even if at the max volume and I have to call 12:26 my voicemail on speaker to put it back on for some reason

@12:13 If you note that the wallpaper dims blue colors more, it may be because when iPhone 14's _"Always On"_ was introduced, Apple stated their method would preserve flesh color... I imagine, at its simplest, that means they maintain reds, oranges and yellows more than other hues.

I was hoping the firmware update to AirPods would fix the hissing sound (like white noise) I have in the right earpiece of my AirPods Pro when transparency or noise cancellation is activated (the noise is prominent also if I remove the left earpiece), but unfortunately the noise is still there. Have tried “resetting” them, but to no avail. Luckily I can use them when “Noise Control” is set to “Off”, but when out and about, I like the “Transparency “ setting as it allows me to hear approaching traffic and so on.

I would bring them to Apple. That is a hardware issue as it’s not a normal thing.
