In October 2015, I had to replace an iPhone 4S. The 6S had just been released, and my provider was selling the outgoing iPhone 6 at reduced cost. looking at both phones, I really couldn't tell any difference, so i purchased the less expensive iPhone 6. Not knowing the increased RAM and other specs of the 6S at that time, I definitely made a mistake in purchasing the 6. It only got support to iOS 12.5.5 and can't handle newer apps. Interestingly, I made a similar mistake when i replaced the iPhone 6 with an iPhone XR. Had I waited, the iPhone 11 was a much better phone. I am now on the iPhone 13, and feel like I should have waited for the 14. it's a never ending cycle!

I think the 13 wouldn't experience the same fate if the rumors are true that the 14 will still use the same processor found in the 13.

The iPhone XR still gets software and is still a great phone. The 13 should get software for many many years and maybe as long as the 14 because they will probably have the same chip

If you wait too much, you end up with no phone. THAT SAID, the iPhone 6 to 6s was such a major jump I wouldn’t consider the 6

Yes, the latest OS would be more loaded and probably does lot more things.. But at the same time, I expect the battery optimisation to also get better with each OS iteration.

Bought mines second hand with incredibly the exact same health hahaha, now it’s been replaced by Apple Authorized Service Provider and works… Eh, works like a 6s. It’s battery isn’t outstanding by any means, but gets the job done well.

What is the maximum battery capacity? Often people say that their phones are bad, but it’s only the battery that is old and can be replaced (going to Apple Store would be the best) which is cheaper than buying a new iPhone.

I knew that iOS 9 was great i had it running from oct2015 to jan or feb of 2017 the reason i was jailbroken but i had to update cuz some issues occurred, and also those fish wallpapers i really wish if apple bring them back. I still have my 6s just its not as great as it was it went through alot but it’s working below ok. Using it for KZbin only.

I hope the iPhone 8/8+/X will also get many software updates, like the 6s, and will overall stay as strong as the iPhone 6s stayed strong. 🥲 I have the 8+ with 256 GB storage, bought as brand new 2 years ago, it is a really great phone, it matches me perfectly and mine runs perfectly fine on iOS 16 (around as good as on iOS 14, I forgot to do updates for a year).

Well with each update battery gets worse because it’s harder for the chip inside the phone to keep up with the newer version. iPhone’s chips back then weren’t as strong as are now and batteries were really bad on iPhone back then. And this video here is obviously promoting iPhone. Even on iOS 12 I barely could have 3-4 screen time let alone 5 hours of screen time on iOS. I used to charge my phone twice a day on iOS 12 and with battery health 100%. So this guy’s videos are mostly fake and promoting iphones
