When you hit the upload button and after that when it says connecting then try to holda boot button for a while and when it started uploading then release it

in order to control the relay manually then you need to define one pin for relay in arduino code and also you need to add the switch widget with datastream for the same

Please recheck the wifi credentials that you have entered. Also make sure that wifi network has the stable internet
