Hey, Josh... Great vlog, as usual! While I'm not a trucker, I enjoyed seeing all those accessories for trucks. Just an observation regarding how to merge onto a highway (motorway, in Ireland) we don't yield to traffic already on the motorway... The way it works here is; we build up our speed, as much as we can to the motorway limit (120kph) & the traffic already on the motorway is expected to move over to outside lane, to allow merging traffic to join the motorway! Great video! Thank you for the real world economics lesson on the harms of taxation. Your easy to follow example illustrates how taxes are ultimately passed on to the consumer. When the consumer (thankfully!) has choices/alternatives, they will choose what is in their best interest-in this case, filling up south of the border instead of north of the border. I’m amazed at the disparity in prices between Canada and the U.S.

I just drove from St Louis MO to Clearwater MN this past Monday. There was lots of traffic on the 494 in Minneapolis at around 11 pm. Didn’t visit the Iowa80 but I did stop to grab a coffee at the Petro in Albert Lea.

Oh I love that chrome candy store!!! We stopped there on the way to MATS in March. Hard on the Visa card that's for sure. The truck museum is something else to spend time and education about trucks and trucking hardcore 101, I tip my hat and pump my air horn to the pioneers that paved the way for North America!!!!

Just an fyi the 494/35W interchange is the busiest in the state and one of the busiest in the country, and it and 494 from 169 to Hwy 5 will be under construction and down to 2 lanes off and on making it a travel nightmare and best to avoid if possible. The construction ends in 2026 and all the work now is preliminary stuff and it is grid locked for most of the day, and when it isn’t it seems busier than usual. Just as you saw. Good Luck.

Stoppped there today on our way to Vegas. The best corned beef hash I have had and I’ve tried it in a lot of restaurants. We travel a lot, Vegas, Vancouver, and Edmonton. I have travelled a lot of the roads you travel on daily. I find that at 32000 ft you don’t see a lot of the country. Enjoy your channel

I liked looking at and you trying out all the lights at the Iowa 80 Truckstop. LEDs have come a long way with what they can flash and how bright they've become. Are you really saving money on fuel taxes? Shouldn’t it all even out with IFTA? The juice might be cheaper some places in the USA for other reasons, but you should be paying the same amount of taxes you’d be paying (based on where you’re driving) no matter where you fill up.
