Stay warm Kurt. We have a 2000 w-9 and a 2023 Pete. The old W-9 has been hard to heat right from day one. The Pete is the exact opposite, running around with the heat just about turned off most Winter days.We are in Northern Ontario and it’s COLD here. I installed a diesel heater under the bunk and heat is never an issue now. Drive safe!!

Yep, in Topeka too. Our street hasn't been cleared yet, but we were able to get out today. I work from home, hubby is retired and we have plenty of groceries so we weren't bothered. However, hubby went to pick up some meds and once he was out the main streets were fine. I just walked up to the mailbox after work and did fine. But, I tell you when the storm was coming in I certainly was thinking about First Class and safety! ❤

Back in about 1993 Eastern Iowa had a real bad cold snap. Well Sunday mid morning there were 3 dumb truckers trying to warm the engine oil pans with piles of charcoal briquets. When the oily grime got warm enough it dripped on the briquets causing flames. Thus setting the trucks on fire.
@kimdalin619116 сағат бұрын
Maybe you'll have to take your clips and clip your curtain onto your visor to keep the cold out. It's really surprising how much warmer the truck stays with the curtain closed across the windshield. I'm sold on it any way. Lol stay warm and keep the snow down there..please.

If you don't have a tarp, use a propane tiger torch, 6 feet of wood stove pipe, with a 90 degree elbow. Point the elbow up at the oil pan. Torch goes in the straight end, heat for half an hour or more depending on the temperature. Start diesel and warm up as needed. Best wishes from Northern Manitoba.

Use to take pork skins to Rudolphs in Lima, Ohio off highway 30.
@pastorjones256116 сағат бұрын
No, pork skin and pork belly are not the same thing; while pork belly is a cut of meat from the pig's abdomen that naturally includes a layer of skin, "pork skin" refers specifically to just the outer layer of skin on the pig, which can be removed from the pork belly and cooked separately to make crispy snacks like pork rinds.
