yeah and most ppel like to say that’s one of his strong suits. however everytime for the most part, that he’s had to do that he’s had something for them to rally around. this season tho it exposed that he is not some silver tongued magician who knows just what to say and how to say it.. like myself and thankfully more and more fans are finally realizing is that he’s barley an average coach at best. He lost all hopes early on this season and the season was over after ohio st. they tricked that game to iowa state over atrocious qb play, and that game should have been Cades last game as the starter. but nope in text book kirk ferentz fashion, he waited until thee entire ship was sunk, he made absolutely sure there wasn’t even the slightest chance of being able to salvage the season before he did what should of been done week 2 and that’s bench cade. Cade was fukin awful, like Petras levels of awful, and Kirk refused to play sullivan when the season still mattered. His outright refusal to bench cade for the better more athletic qb is directly responsible for this season ending up this way. Once the door was shut for good, nothing left to play for, the seniors, and Jrs good enough to are now mentally checked out and focusing on the next level. Higgens and KJ i wouldn’t blame at all if the sat out the rest of the season. look at last game higgen entire future could have ended and Kj as well over playing for absolutely nothing. Kirk has been out matched out classes and our coached for years now. it’s just really getting exposed this season because he can’t hide behind Phil and an elite defense. it was only a matter of time before the defense had a not so good season. i mean shit, the offense has had a decade of bad seasons and held up by defense. And that’s been propping kirk up for years now. He needs to go before this program can’t recover in recruiting and find ourselves being compared to purdue and NW. enough is enough

@@allensaunders449 well i mean having the worst rushing offense in the conference and one of the worst in the country. they were 8/9 win team in the pac last couple years and have had multiple 3 to 6 win seasons. Iowa blew a 10 pt lead, iowa is absolutely the better team and found a way to lose. i mean it’s not really up for debate who the better team is. it was a 3pt win and UCLA had to play their ass off and have their absolute best game of the entire season …. to win by 3pts . let’s calm all the way tf down on how just good ucla is. lololol
