I have watched every game this year thanks to CC. Wish I could go to the upcoming Cancun Challenge tournament. Sounds so fun for the players and fans. I'd go in a minute if I didn't have a prior commitment. Probably not happening, but great if CC is there cheering them on.

Iowa is doing some really interesting things this year. They're playing much better defense, scoring great in the post and mid-range, but also NOT hitting their 3's anywhere close to where the need to be to compete in the B1G, or the NCAA tourney. But so far a great coaching job by Jan Jensen. Trust me: the threes are gonna start falling. Their freshman class is already a major factor, and Iowa has three major recruits coming in next year. Iowa isn't going away because they lost CC and Lisa Bluder.

Sharon Goodman had a perfect 4.0 GPA. Big 10 Distinguished Scholar award. Graduated with Caitlin. Gabby Marshall is working on a master's degree in occupational therapy. Caitlin herself 3× First-team Academic All-America (2022-2024)

CC has made me a big fan of Iowa basketball. And they're retained their offensive identity even without Clarke....uptempo, unselfishness, great passing. Can't wait for the Hawkeys to play the Bruins (my alma mater) which is deep and puts a strong defensive presence. Should be a good game.

I absolutely LOVE this team. The game against Washington State was spectacular. I live the mud range shots bur I especially love the game in the paint and I live the balanced scoring. O Grady is a beast this year

I’ve watched Iowa play 3 or 4 times this year, they’re entertaining. Their competition hasn’t been the best, but they still play the same style of game.

I am an Iowa fan. They have a good blend of upper class players and freshmen. They are learning to play together and will get better. By season's end they will be very good. Their schedule is good for them so far.

Not really...they don't run like they used to.....it's more of an inside first game..

@timothy5988 way better defense. Holding teams to single digit quarters. Hannah has improved her lateral quickness and is much stronger. And the center is rim running too. Their lack of three point shooting is never a factor because even the defense is so much better inside out. Very efficient in the paint. Olson is extremely efficient midrange too. They are getting DBL digit or more off the bench too.

I believe Caitlin Clark has been mentoring Ju Ju Watkins for a few years. As I recall, Ju Ju's parents or team reached out to Caitlin as soon as Ju Ju started getting national attention back in high school. So, it won't be a surprise to see ju ju in State Farm commercials . It will expand Ju Ju's fan base and name recognition beyond just sports fans, as it did with Caitlin .😀

Rankings change all the time. I know strength of schedule factors into it and it’s way too early to take the rankings seriously but the 22 is fun for Iowa. UCLA going to #1 is cool but there are a lot of games left. Nice to see stupid Iowa State going down to 15, 8 was way too high. But yeah no need for people to over react to all this. It’s going to change a lot.

@@JE-IC Well, I also went to ISU, but coincidentally, at the time, I was a Hawkeye fan (back in the Johnny Orr days). So, I have one foot in each camp and I root for them both. I'm just happy to see someone with Audi's "stature" doing well at playing the game. There aren't many like her, and I'm thinking she probably inspires a lot of bigger girls to go out for sports. Good for her!
