Iowa state fair with the VanderVeer family... you couldn't ask for a better time. Watching Craig in his happy place was so heartwarming. Craig, you did an excellent job winning the seal. I hope he has a great neck. The song you sang at the end was epic! Nancy, thank you for the excellent camera work. I couldn't have asked for better documentation of a fair. Beautiful vlog! ❤ Now that you shared your corndog with us, I'm craving that wonderful flavor and crunch that you can only get from a fair corndog. Thank you for sharing.😊

Loving the old style quilts and the fairy wagon! We have the Okefenokee Swamp down here in South Georgia. The turtle shell reminded me of the year I found a perfect small snake skeleton on one of the trails. Nancy, I've really been enjoying being at the fair with you guys. Joe being bad... torturing the turkeys! I always loved the rides at night... So vibrant! Thanks, Craig you are a great tour guide!

That tenderloin sandwich looked really good and super crunchy !! Such a huge variety of items to buy, so cool !! Some of the pictures were really nice !! I loved the stuffies , the mummy was definately my favorite !! Those had to have been the coolest puzzles i've ever seen !! I have to see if i can get something simular for my nephew and nieces. There are so many items i would like to try at a State fair. But i wouldn't have the stomach for it all !! Great and fun video !! ❤

Hi, Nancy! The Church Ladies at the church I used to go to made the most beautiful quilt I've ever seen. Each panel was a rendering of one of the church windows. They are priceless Tiffany windows. Anyway, it was so beautiful. The Church raffled it off at their annual gumbo dinner and the winner donated it back, so they drew another ticket, which wasn't mine. Phooey! I think the parish could have kept it on display for all to enjoy but they didn't ask me. Oh well, wish I had pics to share. I was too busy serving gumbo to think of that. Please share your handy work, when you get it done.

If your ever in the Omaha area in the fall you need to go to Vals pumpkin patch, they have so many fun food options including those potato twist , turkey legs, apple pies,, etc.. and a ton of things to do !

My grandma who passed away used to love to do quilts now my cousin does it but she used to do it from work all the past Work and stuff that goes into. It is amazing. Supposed to say patchwork sorry phone glitched, but it is amazing. I love looking at it so pretty.

Kinda sad the fair is over. Being from Iowa, this was fun!! I’m not moving too fast today. Woke up Wednesday not feeling well, and just thought it was a cold. I tested positive for Covid. I have no idea how I got it, but it’s no fun. Hope you’re doing well!!
