Her sister ship New Jersey was beloved by ground troops, Army and Marines, for the fire support she threw inland in Vietnam. I had a Ops Sgt/Sgt Major who was a LRRP Ranger in Vietnam and needed Fire Support desperately up north when his small team was surrounded. He was told to lay on their backs and when they heard the whistle of shells to rise up on their elbows and scream as loud as they could to empty their lungs. When it was over the enemy was a memory as was a LOT of the real estate around them. He asked where the arty came from. He was told New Jersey. 😁

Ships....though admittedly the largest submarines in the world that dwarf a LOT of ships ARE called Boats. Sailors have odd traditions. .... ARMY RULES!!! 😆

the music is nice, but the problem is that the battleship in the Backround isn't the USS Iowa, but it's the USS Missouri,

@phantombonniedu0277 I'm glad you enjoyed the music. I just realized that I accidentally used an image of the USS Missouri (BB-63) instead of the USS Iowa (BB-61). I appreciate you pointing it out! I hope it doesn’t take away too much from the essence of the song.
