Pauling looks like NFL talent to me. Dude catches everything, has the deep speed and cat like agility. He would do great as a slot WR in the NFL.

@@TheANFPodcast Yep, he breaks ankles routinely. As far as TE's go RUcci is the starter but he's horrible. Ashcraft is a legitimate threat as a freshmen. The RB's are both big and powerfull but lack speed and agility. The third guy Cade has elite speed and agility but never sees the field. Latu was benched at Safety. The biggest weakness on D is Alex Smith the #4 DB as he is trash. Throw on him all day long. Also, run or throw screens on third and long because it fools the Badgers frequently. They will be getting a starter back in Mullens at DE so that should help against the run. I'm guessing they will load the box and force D to throw which means many sacks and most likely some picks.

Prediction: Iowa 23 - Wisconsin 17 (Possible) Scoring Summary: 1st Quarter: Iowa 46 yard field goal Wisconsin 14 yard TD pass Iowa 3 - Wisconsin 7 2nd Quarter: Wisconsin 38 yard field goal Iowa 3 yard TD run Iowa 10 - Wisconsin 10 3rd Quarter: Iowa 26 yard field goal Iowa 37 yard field goal Iowa 16 - Wisconsin 10 4th Quarter: Iowa 8 yard TD pass Wisconsin 13 yard TD pass Wisconsin gets a chance to score the game winning touchdown but Cooper DeJean comes up with a clutch interception, being turnover number 3 for Wisconsin (2 interceptions and 1 red zone fumble in the third which is a key momentum shifting play). Iowa survives despite a less than 50% completion percentage and being outgained in yards (209-295) again. Iowa 23 - Wisconsin 17

Defense isn't 4-2-5. Base is 3-3-5. They run multiple with the dollar package. Also they rarely run zone. Scheme is dominated by man. Thats one reason they struggled against WSU. They hadn't figured out coverage yet and got torched in the first quarter and a half.

Considering Iowa's only loss has been on the road vs. a top ten team, you fellas have been making some weirdly pessimistic predictions lately.

We both picked a win against MSU, I picked a win against Purdue (Kyle had a conditional win prediction against Purdue if KJ was back) and while it’s not in here I think we have at worse a 50/50 shot against Wisco and i don’t agree with the 10 point line. It all comes down to stopping Mordecai in the run game. Would agree that our rhetoric was pessimistic after MSU. But we just witnessed Cade lost for the season, and a down to the wire win against a bottom 3 Big Ten team. While Kyle picked a loss here, it’s a 9.5 line, I don’t think he’s being weirdly pessimistic. Vegas doesn’t arbitrarily create lines. A touch of what bleeds into this was high expectations for the season and with the loss of Lachey and Cade. It’s difficult to see a path to a “great” season and that was our hope with this being the last year of the West. Hope that adds some context *Edit* my 17-13 prediction win is on the video
