TIME FOR AN UPGRADE! Deep Dive in to the KINZE 3605 and Planting a CORN MAZE!

We have been holding back a little suprise from you guys that you will have to learn more about at the end of the video.
We check in with Kinze to learn more about upgrades to the 05 series planter over our 3600. We take some time and learn to change the planter over from soybeans to corn. Then we take off to plant our corn maze.

Thanks Kinze explaining setup, it would interesting see wheat crop be sown n will Kinze offer tow behind grain cart for larger fields plus grain/fert setup? Glad you n your father invested in the planter, time n efficient is what like about this new planter, for our farm it gives options to sow other crops without having buy second planter.

Have done local corn mazes and borrowed extra corn meters to plan t in 15 inch rows to make thick so not to be able see threw. Harvested with grain platform. 😂2 ac patch. PLANTER POOR Love the upgrades that Kinze FINALLY made on the row units 😂. Thanks guys and good luck!!

A new planter is always a good investment! It’s the single most important implement we have. If it’s not planted right you’re screwed from the start. My brother and I, we run 3 16 row stack fold JD 1725C. We have them staggered but we trade every 3 years. Blow sand wears them out quickly, and we have learned it’s better for us to swap. Wait till you try electric drives. 😎

Interesting vidio, on the soybean brush meters, how should the seed disks be stored ,flat or upright with a dowel or rod thought the center hole?At the start of planting I have been spraying the seed disks with graphite paint seems like I have less problems with seeds sticking in the plate holes

You should have tried some 15 inch corn. They actually make corn heads to harvest it. Just heard about it the other day. Very interesting.
