Hi, love the way you do your job with some healthy reluctance (or act like that). I admire your skills, really do. Myself i'm starting to (try) fix logicboards. Bought the hot air rework station, cables, power supply etc. Just can't come any further with this iPad 4, power supply set on 5V 1.5A, iPad only takes 0.006 to 0.028 AMPS. Can you maybe help me with some practical tips/advice? Don't want a solution, want to work properly with my equipment, thank you in advance! Sven from the Netherlands

On the iPad 2/3 didn't u2 failed the same as these days? Like when the iPhone does not charge when the battery is totally dead? But still at 1.9A that should be fine i guess :)

Actually, in the case of very low baterry, its a electronic fault of the battery. The electronics of the battery its suppose to cut the power off around 3.5v in oder to protect the li-ion element. When the the electronics fail, yes, the battery goes very low
