1. No it can’t replace the laptop. 2. The M1 Chip doesn’t really come into use without ProMotion. 3. 64GB doesn’t make sense at all.

in future, definitely...but in the near future i.e the next 5 years or so, probably only a minority of people with fast as f**k connection speeds. Also, as the graphics get better, the internet speed required for lag free cloud gameplay would also increase substantially.

Btw we can't fully utilize the power M1 chips in iPad ,imo A14 was quite efficient even now..in 2020 iPad *PRO* was having A12z processor lol 😆 ,M1 can't be fully utilized as because there are so such software that needs processor like M1 in Ipad ,they are good for Mac...for rendering and editing stuffs* etc etc...
