I'm hoping for an iPad 2 version too. I want one out of the heavier saddle leather like this. I was actually gonna try my hand at creating one, and so I started looking up leather working videos and this came up. No way I could match that with no expierience and no tools. A coworker of mine has a laser etcher/engraver that will allow me to burn some designs I created on it. I see their website says the ipad 2 version is coming in April.

having seamed edges makes for a very durable protective structure. It is the basis for traditional leather fire helmets

@isgrimner I did the burner thing on my cover. Totally screwed it up. Find a real leather worker to do it right.. I had to chuck my old one and get a new one. What they dont tell you is that the "burn" part eventually comes off and it looks like ass.

2 Things. 1) Please don't ever release that chair for sale. I can't afford it but would buy it regardless. 2) You should've shown the iPad after dropping it to demonstrate its shock absorption. Even the most unbelievable infomercials show results and they rely on baseless allegations.
