good!! it's intended as background watching, lol! a kinda draw with me type of video. I was using a reference, I don't think I could draw this without one!

When drawing a hand, I find it easiest to draw the basic shapes first. This is to let me get the size and proportions right. That's how I would tackle such a project. I don't think I'll be able to draw like that because, if I did, then my shapes would come out totally unproportional.

Super fair. I do that too sometimes. I'm used to doing underpaintings and using oil paint, so my technique is coming from there. I definitely struggle with proportion too, which is why I'm this is a reference study! Gotta get that practice in !
