this ios 12 update saved my ipad mini 2 from the trash heap, it runs better than when i first got it. To make your run faster, reset you ipad with erase all content and settings, set it up, and then update it to ios 12

I am still using iPad Mini 2 (April 2019), on iOS 9.3.5. I am very happy with it. I can afford a new but there is no need to waste money. Once my apps no longer work in iOS 9.3.5, I'll be forced to update to iOS 12, then see how it goes 😊

TechMadeEasy is there any way to go back to 10.3.3 or lower from 12.4.3 (I haven’t safed my blobs on this iPad) my iPad did this update over night because it was connected to my Laptop and on dfu mode and iTunes was opend and I was slepping so next day I waked up and than I saw this 😡😡😭😨😱

iOS 11's interface was better for the iPad imo. Separating the control center/app background was a poor choice. It looks like they just used the iPhone's OS rather than make the iPad it's own.

If you guys are still on ios 9 stay. Do not update it. A7 chip and 1gb ram cannot handle for new version of ios. But for those who are in ios 10 to 11 recommended to update to ios 12.

Well you need to upgrade to iOS 11 or above then go settings then go to control centers you’ll see a recorder icon, enable it then go to control centers but not in settings if you wanna record go click that and make a video

If it’s not a hardware issue then it should resolve by re-installing iOS 12 with itunes. Just make sure to make a backup first.

it's crazy lol mine still in 9.0.2 but having lots of problem with : - wifi sometimes doesn't work, need to restart - youtube -> once you log out, can't seem to login anymore (can't upgrade youtube as well) - several common app like notes sometimes can't be opened, once opened, it directly shut down - lag and slow sometimes freeze - news not working do you find any trouble staying in 8.4.1? Or you didn't even use it now? LOL
