8 gigs of ram instead of 4. Much faster chip. Faster wifi. Faster usbc port. Apple pencil pro support. Fixes jelly scroll issue. Do i wish it got 120hz refresh rate & face ID? Sure. But still, I’d say it’s a worthy upgrade. Some people will never be satisfied.

Change it? Yes, use it to complement? No. I have m1 iPad Pro 12.8 and it’s way better than iPad mini. I tend to use iPad mini more as it’s more portable but it needs that higher freq screen and Face ID. I would go for the mini 6 price wise.
