I just got this combo for christmas. Love it, been playing GTA san andreas and that's free on netflix gaming and nba 2k25 mobile work flawlessly on controller. Ipad also runs Cod mobile and warzone mobile pretty good too. definitely an underrated hand held machine. i haven't loaded roms yet but so glad to see the app store have a number or emulators to choose from. I thought 128 gbs would be enough but no, if you want to have this as full fledge gaming device i think 256 in minimum. I guess you can just limit it to a couple big games and a bunch of small ones and rotate the big ones once you beat them but i like to have bunch on the device as possible.

iPad will never have those, it'd be a step backwards to physical media. Those are the days of 2008-2016

Can you review it as a note taking tool? Especially for university students

I touch on that here: The iPad Mini 7 STILL Can’t Do It All! (And That’s Okay) kzbin.info/www/bejne/n5fcop2nlMisr9E But can defo think about something more in-depth

Do you prefer this or PS portal specifically for PS remote play?
@IntentionalTech2 ай бұрын
PS Portal because of the DualSense features and the ease of setup. I also find the connection to be more stable

I’m surprised that Nintendo doesn’t just make a more powerful iPad mini-type device that is console driven for gaming only. I’m sure Xbox would work with them to use game pass also.

The drive to "monetize" has so thoroughly overtaken the original desire of developers to make good/fun games that there basically are almost NO more purely good games on iPad or Android at this point - they've all been either partially to fully ruined by changes to games driven by this obsessive corporate drive to put profit before fun.

The controller in this video is the Gamesir G8 Plus. In terms of other handhelds, it usually depends on whatever I’m testing for my next video but my favourites are here: A Casual Gamer's Guide To Handhelds! kzbin.info/www/bejne/fISXanePoZyriqs

Why you test AAA game with 10% of battery?

I'm generally testing whenever I can but I only have a short window to record. Forgot to charge it over night for this shoot.

Mobile gaming is just a poor relation. Take the recent Age of Empires, nothing like the game we all loved. Why do they have to be led by micro transactions so much?
@IntentionalTech2 ай бұрын
100%. Mobile devices are powerful enough for the real thing these days. It’s so obviously just about money and inducing addictive behaviour.
@JuzzyTube2 ай бұрын
Completely agree - It’s so disappointing! I recently found The Talos Principle on the App Store - no micro transactions, just the full PC game ported to iOS, and it works with a controller if you pair it.

That’s why i gave up on these types of products for gaming and bought myself a steamdeck or in the future, ally/legion go

No but I imagine it will run well. I used to play Pokemon Unite on my iPhone which looks quite similar.

Could have atleast given us 120 hz. 60hz is not good for gaming anymore.
