For as much as people wish the iPad was better at multitasking (and the ability to display numerous apps at once), just viewing a single application on the "small" iPad screen is wonderfully effective in forcing you to focus on getting work done. It's kind of like putting blinkers on a racehorse. :D

@@jack_2612 Because of the size of the screen. After trying Stage Manager, I conclude that it is only useful on a large screen. I prefer to use Split View to put aside other applications or a library that Stage Manager does not allow.

I mean all new iPads have monitor support so you can always create a bigger and better viewing screen for yourself. I do not know if an iPad can use a 4K+ monitor but based on CL's Studio Display set-up, I think it can.

As a small business owner (producing sales videos) I'm definitely considering upgrading to a standing desk sometime this year hopefully🤞🏻You've been an inspiration when it comes to my confidence in what my iPad pro can do. Outside of my more advanced productions, it's a staple for my day to day business operations.

I recently went with a similar desk mounted power strip, such a good addition! I’m jealous of the voltage you get out of your usb ports, I’m stuck at 15W over USB-A and 20 over USB-C.

A pressure sensor under that floor mat would be dope. No scanning NFC tags. If you’re engaged with the desk, lights come up. If you’re off it for n minutes, the go back down again.

Hi Chris! I just wanted to give a quick suggestion: The lighting in this area at 3:13 looks MUCH MUCH better than in your usual recording area 4:29. I think its really worth considering moving your recording setup over there, as it gives a much warmer, more natural, and more proffessional feel to your video. Love the content as always. Cheers.

Love your videos and you are just an enjoyable to watch! I love that you even while trying to create a minimalist set up you wouldn’t sacrifice functionality. I have a question for you that you kind of skimmed over when talking about programming macro keys using VIA. You said that if you had something like a Mac Mini you could do the programming. So my question is if you program a macro pad on a MacBook, Mac mini, etc can you then you the macro pad with your iPad? This would be a game changing add on to my iPad Pro. I do have the 12.9 IPad Pro (USB-C). I wouldn’t be using it for something like Procreate, which I have found many solutions for. I would use it for video editing, note taking, app launching, etc. Thanks for any time you can give to answering this question!

I think this setup is pretty good but you need an external monitor to do a professional job and not hurt your neck 😉

iPad is great tool: This is 3 things I want for next IPad or next IPadOS update: 1. We need continuity Camera and universal control to happen between IPad and IPhone. 2. iPad needs battery life of MacBook Air. 3. For those with Mac and IPad. A free Apple way to remote into your existing mac to use it.

I use to be in that same spot. Luckily I was able to find a bigger place last year for not that much more money. Being able to move around really helps my creativity.

For me iPad is not good enough to be a laptop replacement - Miro and Google apps don't work well, external display support is even worse when using a mouse and it runs out of battery quickly when connected to the external display. Most of the stuff I can do quicker in MacOS but for media, writing or as a supporting device it is amazing.

I have an iPhone 14 Pro which has poor battery life, scrolling stuttering and other annoying bugs, which make it unstable. I have 94% battery health after a year, and both factory reset and Apple employer didn’t help to resolve the issues. Should I trade in to the 15 Pro or 15 Pro Max or wait for the 16 Pro?

@@Roman-Cypher Yeah you’re right. But the question is if the 16 Pro is worth the wait for a decreased trade in value? My only priorities are battery life and iOS software stability like it was in the 13PM series and iOS 15 series. Also, would you pick a regular 15P or a 15PM coming from the regular 14P? Is the 15PM too big in your opinion or it’s fine for its size? Also, which color would you pick between the White Titanium and Natural Titanium? Thanks.

@@Roman-Cypher Oh, I understand. But the only issue is battery life with the smaller pros. Would you rather go for the 15PM for better battery life or still stay on the 15P for the compact size? Or even still wait for the 16P to see what it offers? (Rumored bigger screens, redesigned battery technology and new capture button).
