This close-up, birds eye view was very helpful! I was stuck on home to remove the home button and how to position the screen to reattach the cables. I slowed the video down to 0.25 speed and was able to repeat the process. I just powered it on and miraculously, the home button still works! I need more detail on securing the home button, so I need to understand this better before I seal it up. But, thanks much for posting this video! I hope that you will sell a lot of repair tools!

Great video, but needs to emphasize a couple of things. When removing the "home button", assume no adhesive will be left for the new screen. Further, the bracket sits on a plastic pedestal (adhesive underneath) that will likely be destroyed when prying it off the old screen. My after-market screen did not come with adhesive around the hole or pedestals for the bracket. I was lucky I had the materials left over from another project -- otherwise, I would have been screwed.

so, is the screen inseparapable from the glass or what??

The LCD is fused to the front glass panel. Without the proper equipment, you will not be able to replace the glass itself. We recommend the LCD and Touch screen assembly as shown in the video. Thank you

DIYMobileRepair this is really unfortunate and also much more expensive. Too bad. Thank you for the answer.
