I ordered the yellow one thinking it was going to be a bright vibrant color. Instead I looks like more of a Gold color. I personally prefer the gold look. Definitely not disappointed but just a heads up to the ones expecting a brighter cream of yellow.

Watching this on my iPad Pro 12.9 2017. I literally just bought it used from eBay for £400 because it was all I could afford, but I’m definitely not disappointed. It’s amazing, the screen is finally big enough for my media consumption and the speakers have blown me away, they sound so good! Very happy with my purchase and it’s nice to see that this iPad is still getting the appreciation it deserves. There’s no shame in getting the older models

I picked up a 64 gig iPad Pro 10.5 in mint condition back in October to replace my trusty old Air 2 and I think it was a fantastic pick for the price (about the equivalent of 400 usd), I could've pick the 8th gen new and maybe even the Air 3 but the pro just seem better for my usage, A10X is still a very capable SoC and coupled with the 120Hz display it provides a pretty smooth and fast user experience. I'd like to see a comparison between the 10.5 inch iPad Pro and the new iPad Air 4. Keep up the great work, Noah.

I have the first generation (2015 model) and it’s still an absolutely wonderful device. Really the only thing I wish I had was 120z and 4K KZbin support. Regardless I’m super happy with and it’s aged wonderfully over 5+ years of ownership. It’s amazing that’s the only complaint I have using it in tandem with my 12 Pro Max and 15” 2019 MBP. It doesn’t get left behind in daily use and performance. That 4GB of ram really allows it to multitask despite being based on the older silicon.

I was also using the Gen 1 12.9 Ipad pro 32 gb and I took it to Apple store last week for battery replacement. They replaced it with a new 64 gb iPad Pro Gen 2 12.9 because they said they can't open and change the battery for that kind of model. I only paid $99 + tax with a 90 day warranty. That's the price for battery replacement. Now I don't need to upgrade because I only use mine for note taking and ebooks and I have a 100% battery life. =)

Hi, thanks for the video! I’ve bought the new iPad Pro 12.9 2020 this January. I’m an artist drawing vector and raster illustrations and this tiny power up was really crucial for me. Waiting for the new released would cost me more money at this point. Speaking of the size - it’s surprisingly more convenient than my old iPad Pro 9.7. 12.9 sits on a lap so perfect when you’re drawing on a couch and even caffe. I even think “oh it could be a tiny bit bigger” when I’m drawing lol. And to be honest the only problem for me is to grab it up from the table (no bezels + small hands😅), absence of 3.5 mm. That’s it. I’m sure 2017 model is still great, my friend do use it for raster illustrations in Clip Studio, but if you’re a working professional deciding to buy the new iPad, just grab the latest one with 256gb and up.

Thank you so much for this video! It helped me pull the trigger on getting a 2017 12.9 in iPad Pro in 2021. I’d like to mention here that there’s an issue with light bleeding with this particular model too. I got a used model because I wanted to begin digital drawing so this model is sufficient with procreate and didn’t break the bank ! Thanks for the video, no one really emphasises on how getting older or second hand models can be good enough to get the job done.

I have a the iPad Pro 12.9 inch 2 gen and I love it but the only complaint I have is the ram and the screen quality, sure it’s no mini led but for at the time this was made, it’s still impressive, I am going to replace it with the new one in a few months or so, to anyone who wants to save money and get a iPad Pro, I highly suggest getting the older models to save a few bucks because the iPad you are watching this video on can run a lot of games on max graphics, and for the kids, yes, it runs Roblox on max and it doesn’t lag or anything, just make sure to plug it in after an a hour or two Edit: mine broke so I'm gonna have to follow my own advice again

I got a new in box 2018 64 gb 12.9” iPad Pro 2 weeks before the 2020 launched for $649. It came with a year of free Apple TV. I picked up an aftermarket keyboard case with trackpad for $75. I put a glass screen protector on with a paper like skin on top, I like to draw. I now use this combo more than my 15” MacBook Pro. I may never go back to a laptop now.
